Retatrutide

Which peptide did you choose to start with? I read that you've been using compounded for a bit. Going the peptide route is the way to go for sure. It puts your weight loss (as well as your health) in your own hands, but it does take a lot of research and perseverance. Totally worth it though.

Did you have any spikes in your heart rate at all?
Yes, it does up your heart rate, not in spikes but in a consistent higher rate (not overly high -from mid 70s to the 80s.) But on the flip side, it lowers your blood pressure, at least at higher levels (I'm on 10mg currently).

As others indicated, try to look for a seller who has a copy of a COA listing purity for the batch they are selling. Good vendors will have one posted from a trusted testing facility like Janoshik. Look for a fairly recent test. Some lesser selling items may have older but still valid COAs, while the most popular will have very recent certificates. If you are really worried don't shop China direct sources, choose a US vendor. US vendors for the most part are re-selling cheap Chinese peptides at a jacked up price, but at least you don't have to worry about tariffs, customs and international shipping. You will mostly have labels on your vials (except for some like Nexaph 10 vial kits, which come without) which eliminates concern over what you are getting. Everyone has to decide what level of risk they are willing to take when it comes to buying grey market.
It’s all from the same source. Vendor COAs are useless. If you want to know about what you’ve bought, join a testing group and get your peps tested.

That is dependent on how slowly (or quickly) you titrate up. We had a member who titrated very very quickly and his heart rate went up to 180 bpm. Then he badmouthed it. I started low and titrated slowly and my heart rate hasn’t increased at all. And I’ve been on it since July 2023.

i think you are giving yourself a false sense of security with the domestic resellers. Those coa are worthless and these aren't real businesses. They are the modern equivalent of corner dealers. You can cause them trouble but you're not going to get anything from them.

You mentioned contaminated product from China which is all true but all underground supply comes from China and there could be any contamination in any of them and none of us would know no matter how much testing we do.
I absolutely can run them out of business if they are selling junk products, and not by suing them. If they are selling in the US they are incorporated in whatever state they are operating it in, which means they are accountable to that state's laws and restrictions on businesses, and ultimately accountable to that state's Attorney General. Unlike buying from China, where no one is accountable.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree. It's my opinion and my choice, so enough said.

Someone on here needs to express exercising caution when it comes to buying directly from China. I've read enough threads here where you all express content then ultimately distrust about one after another favorite Chinese distributor. And yes, I read about the Nad+ melted mess and the cardboard and rubber (or was it?) in the vials, not to mention the poisonous disinfectant found on the outside of some vials. There needs to be more balance expressed in this forum between Chinese and US vendors instead of a constant push towards China and making people feel stupid for choosing to buy US sold peptides.

I've always titrated slowly, I've been on Reta since June 2024 and my heart rate at 10mg/week is consistently mid 80s, sometimes low 90s. But my blood pressure is low to normal. When I titrated down a few weeks ago, as my blood level fell my blood pressure was still low to normal but my heart rate was in the mid 70s.

I've been measuring my blood pressure all along. It's a wise precaution for anyone to follow, but especially when taking Reta.

Let's choose a big one and say Nexaph sold you junk. Can you take us through your process? What's the owners full name? Address to their brick and mortar headquarters? What do we tell that Attorney General we were trying to buy?

Just asking...

I used compounded semaglutide and paid through the nose for it. Now using Tirzepatide.

These business get shut down all the time once they get on the FDA radar. And then they pop back up under a new name the next week. So it's not really any loss to them.

You've been a member here for a week. We talk about exercising caution with ALL sources.

There doesn't need to be more balance because ALL sources are untrustworthy. You seem to think there is a difference between Chinese and American resellers though. There isn't, one just charges more than the other and takes credit cards.

I have gotten all of my peptides shipped from the US, with the exception of liraglutide from India. First Nexa, then twice from SRY's US warehouse, then a kit from a group buy vendor (which was already in stock), and I just ordered some vials from Amino Annex.

Incidentally, getting controlled and unapproved meds from India, such as testosterone and stimulants, has not been a problem for me yet. No tariffs and my last order was cleared in two days by customs and whatever else yesterday. Along with low dose naltrexone, generic Jardiance, and more liraglutide for me, I got brand name Farxiga for a family member with CKD.

Hello! May I know from which seller you got liraglutide from India?

Kawal at DMOnlineMeds. $26 per pen. Shipping is about $30. Cheaper per mg from China but not with the convenience of being in a pharma pens.

I still don't know how much lira helps since there is so much tirz in my system. It is far less effective than sema and tirz for appetite suppression and improving bloodwork, according to the studies. And requires daily injections instead of weekly.

The only good thing is that is it less likely to cause side effects that last for days since the half life is so short. So it can be helpful for occasional or PRN stacking.

Though it comes in a pen for diabetes treatment, two injections are required for a full dose for obesity. I posted more info in the lira forum.

Basically, it's been kind of disappointing in effect, but the sides are also mild, mostly initial fatigue. It's another reason I need to try continuous glucose monitoring, to see how much different things may be helping.

"Hello yes AG? I purchased uhhh...research chemicals for my home use and did not receive the quality advertized. Can we hold them accountable? I know I dont own a lab and this reeks of grey market drug dealing but trust me bro!"

choosing this lifestyle is choosing to have a greater than 0% chance that you will:

Get scammed, robbed, stolen from, Sent low quality product, sent a completely different product than what you ordered masking as the desired product, the list goes on.

No one is going to advocate for buying slightly questionable peptides from an american reseller of an unknown chinese origin at a 300% markup over buying the same slightly questionable peptides directly from the chinese origin without the markup.

Anyone paying that markup whilst having access to Grey vendors IS a little stupid.
