Hi, I was wondering if I should wait for my peptide to become room temp after removing it from the fridge. Before I do the injection or does it not really matter?

Injecting a room temperature peptide may help lessen stinging. For peps know to sting, I draw the dose into a syringe, then let the syringe acclimate to room temp for a few minutes after putting the vial back in the fridge.

It happens that I forget it on the counter, but I can't stand the sting when it's too cold.

Try not to leave it too long tho, my experience (just feels) is that it degrades pretty quickly after 3 days at room temp it doesn't do shit anymore

Don't thermal cycle it. Degredation is probably ultra small like 0.0001% but just draw up what you need and quickly put it back into the fridge.

I also store mine in a small insulated water bottle because my fridge gets used frequently.

Yeah this is a good idea

I just inject it cold without any issues. That being said, if you'd prefer it to be room temp I'd pull your dose into a syringe, recap, and let the SYRINGE come to room temp. I wouldn't be comfortable letting the temperature of my entire vial fluctuate like that. I don't know if anyone has done studies to see the degradation rate, but I'd personally prefer not to risk it.

Yeah, this is what I'm going to do. Not ideal to have the entire vial go to room temp every time. Also I was curious about the air bubbles and how to avoid getting them into the syringe. When I pull into there's usually a decent sized air gap on the side of the syringe right at the top towards the needle. Or a small one right next to the black plunger that moves.

Hold the syringe with the needle pointing down and give it a couple of flicks to move the air bubble to the top (next to the plunger).

I find this air bubble at the end of the shot reduces the chance for an ISR by making sure you don't have a drop on the end of the needle when you with draw the shot which spreads your pep outside the SQ region. Also, there are no negative impacts to injecting a small amount of air SQ. This is just my experience, I have no data to back this up.

what does ISR and SQ mean? And I tried moving the air bubble but it won't even move lol maybe i'm just over thinking

I draw anything I take that is refrigerated the evening prior. I’ve had no issues in 8 months. Everything has worked to a point that I don’t question it losing efficacy.

Unless you are injecting a very viscous solution, you're not flicking it hard enough.

I find that if I add air to the vial equal to the amount that I am going to draw, draw the shot slowly and keep the needle below the fluid level the number of air bubbles are minimized. However, once I have my shot drawn, I always pull some extra air (about 10u) in and flick it to the top of the syringe (next to the plunger).

I'm savage like that..I inject cold as well. I'm also very cautious when getting materials together, cleaning space, before removing from the fridge to load. I rather not contribute to any possible degradation going on.

😍 Did you just add a pfp or did I miss it?

PFP..Profile pic..? ( I'm almost clueless on acronyms) Few days ago in memoriam of the last passing member of one of the greatest bands ever😎
Yes profile picture! But now I feel bad about why. 😅

where do u guys inject? i read on chatgpt that 2 inches to the side of your belly (lower belly basically) is prime so i've done that. curious to see where others do honestly

Don't worry about a little bubble for sub q or intra muscular, even intravenously they say you'd need more than 6 inches of tubing all air to kill you. So even 100 units of air under ur skin won't do shit other than maybe a lump.

The only concern with an air bubble is it can make your dosage inaccurate.

I typically leave a little air in the syringe and "flick" it to the top (by the plunger). My theory is it reduces the trail of pep that you leave on your skin layers when you withdraw the needle after a dose. Especially for spice pins like MOTs-C.
