Following the shutdown of SSA and SRY I heeded the warnings that random people would be popping up to take advantage of the frenzy people would be in. I saw some guy who’d recently started a TikTok account posting about the controvery and had naturally started a WhatsApp group for all the lost and hopeless claiming he had a good and “100% trustworthy” supplier.

Me being nosy I decided to play detective and joined so I could see what it’s like in the world of pretend gray. I was not dissapointed. From kicking people out of the group when they’d question why they were being solicited by sellers after joining, copy paste reviews from different people when someone would ask if they’re legit and most recently saying after someone asked about inconsistency in kit fills: “Guys this is EXTREMELY common in grey market. Anyone that’s complaining about 10-15% overfill/underfills is just exposing that they’re lack of experience in grey.

US research labs are a great option for you if you want precision (and to pay 10-20x more per vial). Grey is where you go for value.”

Now I’m not an expert. I’ve only been doing active research for about a year and only on Tirz for 4 months now but from my understanding a lot of peptides have pretty narrow windows, too little and nothing happens, too much and you run into problems. So even a 10-15% swing isn’t something to shrug off, especially if you’re dosing every day for months because it compounds over time.

Calling that ‘normal in grey’ just excuses sloppy QC. In most established grey groups people test for this exact reason, and good vendors usually reimburse if vials are off. If a vendor hides behind that excuse and shuts people down, it makes me even more suspicious.
