No, I disagree to that. There are stupid questions, especially ones that were answered a trillion times already.
Hate me all you want, but anyone that is not even able to search things properly shouldn't be here.
This entire forum is a place for newbies, all they gotta be able to do is search, can't help more.
Unfortunately the idea is unworkable for now because daddy Zippity is off doing whatever he does in the real world and to my knowledge nobody else has access to add/remove forum sections. Directing people who ask obvious unresearched newbies questions to the pinned newbie message in the general forum is the best course of action for now:

I'll add that anyone is welcome to add things they think would be helpful to that thread. I can't edit the main posts anymore, but I'm certainly not an expert and anyone can feel free to jump on if they feel like being helpful.

He is the only one. For now, new vendor access is suspended. It is not possible and will not be possible until he returns. You should spend your time selling on other platforms because none of us have control of this situation and don’t know when it will be resolved.
If he doesn’t return, eventually the prepaid bills run out and this all disappears. Those are the only two possible outcomes.

Nope. But he has taken extended absences before, it’s not unheard of so there is nothing to worry about in terms of his wellbeing. He’s just a guy with a job that I guess gets all consuming sometimes. Last time this happened there weren’t even mods so the place went feral.
There's a 'contact us' button at the bottom, but I don't know if it would go to Zippy or XenForo.

I wouldn't use it as a vendor, to be honest. If it goes to XenForo I don't know if Zippy would want them paying attention to us.
He is well aware of the existence of the forum and his role here, so i just try to respect that he has a personal life and leave him to it. This isn’t the real world and probably isn’t worth interrupting whatever it is that is keeping him away in my view. In the meantime I’ll keep doing my best to keep the wheels on the car, unless one of the other mods decides they want to jump in at which point I’ll probably finally enjoy the rage quit that has been building up!
Yes, I will not bother him until he goes back, I don't want to put this forum in danger, enjoy it
