So, I have shingles. Fun times. So far, no rash. Just nerve pain.
I started Valacyclovir today.
The past 2 days I have started a TET protocol. 1mg TA-1, 1mg Epithalon, 1mg Thymulin, once daily.
I am thankful I had just purchase a vial of each TA-1 and Thymulin, to have on hand.
Does anyone have any other great support recommendations?

No solutions and sorry it is totally unhelpful to you now, but for others reading it - get vaccinated. It gets more and more common as you get older and can be pretty painful. And there is the bonus that the vaccine seems to make alzheimer's quite a bit less likely. And even possibly heart attacks as well.

I would love to get vaccinated. I was under the age of vaccination when I had insurance. I am now just over that age, and have no insurance. The state of insurance in the US.

Even in Australia coverage is not super available unless over 70. Despite being on immune suppressing drugs, so at definitely increased risk, I only qualified a month ago to get it subsidised by losing enough weight to get my dose of immune suppressing drugs above the threshold per kg . 67kg and it costs several hundred dollars and 66 kg it is free ?

I hope you got an antiviral. I know Valtrex is a big one. Your stack looks as good as any. I did some checking and TA-1 appears to be the one mentioned the most. Get better soon.

Yes! Started Valtrex yesterday.
Fantastic! My mother didn't do anything for 2 weeks and thought she could just ride it out. She was a Depression baby and they're like that. She ended up with permanent sciatica and tinnitus and suffered the rest of her life. It's absolutely no joke. I was vaccinated and I'm thankful for that, after watching her go through it. My ex got prescribed Valtrex and that knocked it pretty quickly, before there was Shingrex.

I doubt ozone is a therapy proven in peer reviewed journals, but antivirals speed healing , reduce pain, and most importantly of all, reduce the odds of post herpetic neuralgia, which is common and can last for years.

I'm not really into getting vaccinated but shingles is one I am DEFINITELY getting. I got the chickenpox twice when I was a kid, so I'm not taking any chances.

I'm a fun medical anomaly that gets chronic shingles. One year I'll have it every other month, next year I won't see it at all. I've gotten so used to it as this point that I don't bother taking anything.

Take Lysine, it suppresses the virus. Avoid Arginine, it feeds the virus. Arginine foods are everything you like. Wheat, nuts, chocolate etc.. Lysine is in Dairy and proteins, but a supplement is easier to get the right amount.
I add it to my coffee.

I used to get reoccurring shingles...at least three shingles episodes a year for a couple years post sepsis...sucked.
Valtrex was given...helped.
You might want to check out Methylene Blue as well for it's antiviral properties, and keep taking it in cycles. But double check w/the valtrex that there are no contraindications.

Had shingles at age 46. Waited the required 6+ months to be eligible for the vaccine, doctor wrote an Rx, and the pharmacist refused to fill/administer it at age 47 because I was under the age of 50 and he didn’t want to be “questioned about it if he got audited.” Said since I already had it, it was just as good as getting the vaccine. 🙄 US healthcare….more worried about the audits than the healthcare.
