I am having an issue with a vendor where they say that my order was shipped on April 3rd.The order says pickup scan on April 3rd and there have not been any other updates. I checked with the carrier chat bot and it says that if there are no updates in 24 hours after the pick up scan, check with the warehouse because they most likely did not give the package to the carrier.
The vendor insists that the package was shipped and they are saying since I didn’t purchase insurance, that I am just out of luck.

I just wanted to see if anybody else has had a similar experience?

Doesn't the carrier execute the pick up scan? Now I will tell you I have had a package twice that sat for 48 hrs at a UPS store. Same city both times. No excuse for that.

the carrier may do the pickup scan, but there was never any update for a month. The carrier said that if there is no update after 24 hours, they did not receive the package.
 
I am going to have to agree with that. I have never been asked about insurance to ship any peptides or heard of anyone else saying it. The first scan is often by the seller and occurs before anything is picked up. If there is zero movement on tracking since then the courier never got it. Sounds very odd and suspicious, and probably a scammer.
Try again from a popular vendor and make certain you have the correct, legit contact details.

I actually had a similar experience with another vendor so I can say what happened. So another vendor sent me a shipment and it showed label created. It never even said pickup scan, but the vendor had given the package to the carrier which was UPS. It dated like that for 24 hours so I followed up with my vendor and they followed up and said that UPS returned it. However, this vendor that I deal with seems very professional and they even offered to give me a hundred dollar credit for my troubles which I politely declined. I just wanted to get what I paid for. It turns out they made sure it got shipped before the Labor Day break and I just got my package today. It was mailed at the end of April.

This is what I think happened with my other vendor. They handed it off to Yanwen and then Yanwen returned it. The warehouse probably didn’t let them know and so they thought that the package was lost. They said since I didn’t buy insurance, my loss. But I guarantee the package wasn’t lost.

I told the vendor that is t shipping the product that I am leaving them a bad review on this forum and I am good with taking the loss because I only ordered a small shipment from them as an initial trust issue/vendor feeler purchase.

I just wanted to post an update. The vendor actually found out that my order had not been shipped, and they shipped my order to me and I got it today. I knew they were a reputable vendor because they were recommended by a friend who had gotten an order from them as well. I had even told them not to worry about shipping it to me and they honored the purchase anyway after they determined it had not shipped. I feel like even though it took a while to get it sorted, I am a happy customer.
