Hey folks!
Is there anyone here who actually poops better after starting Tirz?
For the past several years I was often having constipation issues, especially when upping my protein. I had a feeling that the healthier I'm eating, the more problems I'm having to take a nice proper everyday dump. Lots of veggies, oats, lean meats, fruit, stuff like that.
My story is I was at the verge of obese like 8 years ago (drinking problems, weed problems). Then I quit cold turkey and I changed my life around, started eating healthy, been lifting in the gym regularly for several years, managed to drop around 30 lbs of fat, then the scale stopped and I struggled throughout the last few years, going a bit up and down, managing to keep most of the weight off, but still being a bit overweight with some belly fat especially. All this time I would feel constipated regularly. Sometimes like for days.
Recently, I did some bloodwork, and it turned out that even though I'm taking better care of myself now, I'm at the edge of pre-diabetes (5.7% HbA1C). With my parents both being diabetic, I got my doc to prescribe me Mounjaro.
After about day 3-4 after my first shot, I felt like my bowels finally got to work well. I poop every day, regularly in the AM, and I'm flabbergasted at this, having read earlier that tirz gives more constipation usually. I was rather expecting to shit bricks every 2 weeks, but I'm actually producing nice chocolate pudding each morning.
Anybody else experienced something similar?
