Should we store our peptides in the freezer in powdered form?

I was just doing some research and I saw that one could slow down the degradation of our pre-reconstituted peptides by freezing it. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was true and if it's only certain peptides or all peptides

Store in a thermos or insulated food storage container, in the freezer. Use a manual defrost freezer if you have one, otherwise the thermos will provide some temp stability during the defrost cycle of a frost free freezer.

No need to defrost when you are reconstituting, just hit it with room temp BAC water, sterile water or whatever liquid you are using to reconstitute

manual defrost freezer is definitely not required. standard frost free freezer never gets above freezing and there has been no evidence of increased degradation in them. As always though, the colder the better but it a very small difference.

Digital nomad here. What do you do while you travel?
Good question. I imagine just keep the lyophilized vials in a cool dark place the best you can and accept some level of degradation unless you have a vehicle and a way to run a small 12v freezer?

So all peptides are better frozen? Not just some of them? Ok I'm off to the batfreezer na na na na na na na na

From what I have read lyophilized peps (powder) will last for months stored in a room temperature, dark place with minimal loss. If you are traveling, just take what you will need out of the freezer and throw it in your bag.
Depending upon the country that you wish to travel to; it would be in your best interest to reconstitute and then take it with you. Yes your peptides will probably deteriorate but at least you will still have it with you during your trip!

Don’t believe me? Try going into Dubai or Singapore or Australia with some “white powder in a vial” and see what will happen to you.

Thank you - I will keep this in mind.
