So I finished my 4th injection of 2.5mg last Sunday and the only real concern I have in regards to side effects would be sleep.
I've had sleep issues in the past, and as part of trying to understand sleep cycles and sleep performance I regularly monitored my sleep with a Samsung watch.
Right now I'm getting between 4 and 5.5 hours sleep a night wheras before reta I would regularly have 6+ hours. The difference being even with this reduced duration on reta I'm getting the longest deep sleep I've had in years. I'm regularly hitting 1.5x the deep sleep average for my age on a 5 hour sleep duration I'm getting 1h 20m to 1hr 30m of deep sleep. The duration was lower before reta. Usually under 1hr. My REM is also great, regularly hitting the avg for my age.
I feel very refreshed when I wake and can't get back to sleep so I get up and hit the gym around 5am.
Im attaching some results in case anyone is interested. If anyone else has been monitoring their sleep I would like to hear your experience with this, and if any sleep experts can advise if these results are unhealthy please chime in.
For now the sleep issue isnt such a problem. In fact I cant say I've felt this good in a long time, except for overall duration I would say I feel like I'm back in my 20s.
