Can I get opinions on smart scales? I currently have a Renpho that is almost 10 years old. I have been considering an upgrade to the Hume Health Body Pod or similar scale. Any recommendations or is it even worth it to upgrade?
More data is always a good thing, I have an older withings, was recently considering a new one from them or renpho, this one that you mentioned looks pretty interesting too.
Here’s a post that includes comments and a little discussion about a person who took his or her Renpho scale to their Dexa scan appt to compare accuracy and they were surprisingly accurate. This person is using the newer 8-point electrode scale.
I love all the data that smart scales give. $139-ish seems like a reasonable amount to spend to be able to track all of the metrics in your health journey if your smart scale is as old as yours. Mine is only about 4 years old, so I haven’t pulled the trigger on an upgrade, but it keeps moving in and out of my cart (especially every Prime Day or other made-up day to make us believe it’s “on sale.” 🤣)
