Vendors are coming back from holiday...I have been planning a decent sized purchase. But the geopolitical environment seems to be quite a mess right now. It seems like there is increased seizure risk at the least, and prices will probably be going up if they really are collecting tariffs on all packages.
There's a rumor that raws prices have increased in china as well.

I'm starting to think we might not see Tracy again. ASC is also effectively dead and I think GYC is rebranding. and I've been trying to get some stuff from SRY but they are being pretty difficult to work with right now.

so what's everyone doing now? Are you trying to get your orders in asap before prices go up? Are you standing pat for a while until the dust settles? Who are you thinking you'll use in 2025 given the shakeup in the vendor landscape?

I am considering going through some of these group buys, because they reship from within the US, and it seems like they are able to get pretty good prices now because of the volume they bring in.

Already stocked up here...

Otherwise, "wait and observe" is my plan. Now is a time to see how current vendors respond to acute/alleged "changes" - proposed, or imposed, by the media. Or actual laws. :P Lots of drama and chaos presently, from pricing, to shipping, supposed stock, etc.

It is a good time to observe character and integrity if there may be such a thing.

i need to keep reminding myself that I am sufficiently stocked up and don't NEED anything for a while. I would like to pick up some sema and some ss-31 but i don't absolutely need it now. i should just kick back and wait

I’m considering myself retired from the collecting business. I will watch you guys and see how it goes before I even consider getting back in the game. Now I plan on how to stretch my supply until sema comes off patent!

Been stocking up for months so besides the potential loss from GYC, I am good. What issues are you having from SRY? I have ordered a crap ton from them without any issues thankfully.

anyone have luck getting s10 or s20 from an American warehouse? I have an order but now its not going to come through due to US block

just getting the runaround on stuff. they post a price list for the US warehouse but then the stuff i ask for is sold out. there's something else i want for $60 but it's apparently in a second US warehouse that's different than the first one, and they will only sell it to me if I buy $200 worth of stuff from that warehouse, even if I spend several hundred in the first warehouse. In December I "reserved" some T40 before they were ready to take orders and then when I did try to place my order, they said that was sold out.

Previous order with them was flawless. But their sales ops is rough right now

What vendor are you talking about?

SRY is a mess right now. Difficult to get in touch with and get valid responses. Wary about ordering from them. We need some clear direction with vendors.

Maybe wait and see is the best resort.
Agree with this. Trying to get a hold of them about an order I am waiting on from China. There are some sales reps active on discord, but mine (Lisa) is not. So I think things are really hit or miss atm. Caveat Emptor!

My strategy is wait several weeks and see how all this shakes out. My guess is that CN will transship to another country to avoid tariffs and seizures. Higher shipping costs, but lower chance of losses. I was watching a news show from several months ago. They said that direct shipments from CN to the US were already down and that transshipments through Mexico were way up. Who knows? CN has many options. We will have to wait and see.

I'm new to Grey. I've been stocking it for a couple of months and wanted to build my supply before I started using it since I'm still on compound. I've been buying stateside. Because I'm new to this, I didn't want to run the risk of my order not coming through. I've learned more from this forum than from any other source. Thank you all for that.

Too much shit product out there. Too much customs risk. I’m also out
