From what I understand he's a nepo baby with an amazing lawyer. And if he is tried in NY they're going to have a hell of a time finding a jury in NYC. We tend to be the kind of people that won't want to throw the book at him.I hope people take the time to reflect on how this was a smart guy by all accounts. And unlike Ted Kaczynski, he didn't take out any innocent bystanders. Very targeted. I have a lot of trouble coming up with any empathy for any health insurance ceo.
Oh, I just meant his nepo status means he can afford the best of the best lawyers.Yeah, I read the same but he must not be your typical nepo baby if he killed this guy specifically because he represents and was one of the people directly responsible for the horrible state of health insurance/health care system in this country. A populist nepo baby! Rare. Maybe he is just cosplaying as Bruce Wayne against the health insurance villains.
Someone on Reddit posted NYC had Wanted posters up with various healthcare CEOs pics 😎 Thousands of upvotes. I only commented “can we do this for Dallas CEOs” and was banned for 3 days for “inciting violence” 🤡I bet bcbs CEO is shitting bricks right now
Saying this in the forum devoted to people who can't afford life saving medication due to the actions and greed of men like Brian Thompson is deliciously ironic.Gross. A man was shot in the back and murdered. Anyone who thinks Luigi is a hero is delusional.
My understanding was a nepo baby was someone whose success could be attributed to their parents and that he was going to an Ivy League college partially due to his parent's status. I could be mistaken.I’m pretty sure the term “nepo baby” is for when a child gets a difficult-to-obtain job because of who their parents are, especially when they’re otherwise untalented. To my knowledge that isn’t Luigi’s situation. He’s just a boilerplate rich kid who was in fact very intelligent (valedictorian speaks to that), not a nepo baby.
I agree. Those who are privileged enough to be able to afford the best of the best legal representation are best able to send a message without risking.... Ah, an unfortunate end where the prison cameras mysteriously don't work or life in prison.Maybe it doesn't play as perfectly to the working class hero narrative but I don't see Luigi's familial wealth to be a negative regardless of how pampered a life he lived. Many of histories heroes had significant funding or came from wealth.
Fighting anything is not cheap and benefits from having a stable base, education and network. While there is precedent for the down trodden masses to mount an effective fight it is ironically the rich who are the best positioned to engage in any sort of warfare whether it be economic or physical.
Easy to see why they may not want to rock the boat they benefit the most from, which I think puts Luigi into a particularly positive light.
There literally is nothing ironic about murder. Murdering people you disagree with is still murder. WTF is wrong with you people?Saying this in the forum devoted to people who can't afford life saving medication due to the actions and greed of men like Brian Thompson is deliciously ironic.
Keep on licking that boot.
You seem upset, but no one said it wasn't murder or that he did the right thing, other than @Sunflower saying they made a joke on Reddit and the rest of us discussing what happened in what I would consider a rather matter-of-fact manner. There literally is nothing ironic about murder. Murdering people you disagree with is still murder. WTF is wrong with you people?
Oh, I just meant his nepo status means he can afford the best of the best lawyers.
From what I understand he had a severe back issue.

Loss of the ability to have a sex life and continue being active (with the body in the pictures being used in articles, he HAD to be active) would drive anyone crazy, nevermind insurance companies holding up his treatment.
I don't know enough about the costs of the procedures he needs, but healthcare costs could easily be significantly more than his legal representation. It also means that he can afford the best medical care without insurance. I’m not sure his anger towards the CEO and his medical condition are even related.
There's also the chance they choose not to televise it so they don't incentivize copycats. Like how a lot of news outlets post about victims of school shootings and not the shooter- so becoming infamous doesn't become a motivating factor. Especially since the Internet has chosen to love this guy already.this whole deal is just getting started. i expect there will be a huge show trial bigger than O.J.s
Creating an AI with a 90% error rate to deny more healthcare claims DID and DOES result in death. Insurance denials that facilitate death are murder. Sending weapons overseas to kill people in thier home country is also murder. And we are made to fund it all with our taxes and insurance premiums. There literally is nothing ironic about murder. Murdering people you disagree with is still murder. WTF is wrong with you people?
Yes, it’s murder, but remember: just bc we are told they did “bad things” doesn’t mean it’s true. It’s a narrative created by anyone’s government to perpetuate support for their agenda to amass power and wealth. Also, thousands of non-militants are getting murdered by the US and Israeli militaries.the U.S. government hunt down and kill lots of people who do bad things. is it murder?
i mean don't you watch Navy Seals or Lioness?

It's nice for you to be able to afford the $500-1000 a month this medication costs, I'm happy for you. Don't have to rub it in everyone's faces but I digress. This forum is devoted to people who "can't afford life saving medication"? Are we all just 'poors'?
I can comfortably afford retail prices for peptides. It doesn't mean I'll pay them and not think twice. I think many of us on the forum who have had some time to accumulate wealth can afford them.
Here you are in another forum thread justifying murder and calling everyone on this forum poor. Nice look.

I can't afford it.
I am part of the poors.
Not ashamed of it either.
I'm also not sad that Brian Thompson was killed. Not ashamed of that either.
I find it hilarious that 20 minutes after you wrote "I'm done responding to you" in another thread, you went to find me in this thread.
lol
Arrogant, smug, and a bootlicker.Maybe spend less time trolling on the Internet, and put that energy into a side hustle and you'll be in a better financial position someday.
1 in 12 Americans are millionaires. You do the math. Not all of us are broke. And you can't spend yourself rich.
No one asked if you were sad about Brian Thompson. Justifying murder is just wrong. Insane. Bonkers.
Typical troll response. You really couldn't contain yourself after promising not to respond to me in the other thread. Gotta laugh at that. No self control.
Yes, you've done it, you've stopped responding to me in that thread, only to then immediately go out and find another thread to respond to me in.Typical troll response.
My intention was to stop responding to you in that thread. Which I've done.
Keep laughing troll.
Yes, anyone one believes another is a scumbag, then it's okay to kill the scumbag. What could go wrong?it's something i can't help. but when i see a scumbag get shot i get really happy and even pee myself.
just a little bit. this guy also did insider trading. a 360 degree scumbag
there are some really good scenes in Lioness where a helicopter wipes out hundreds of cartel in a few seconds. i have to wear a diaper.
Oyster didn't kill the dude, as far as I know. He just finds it funny that an immoral millionaire asshole got taken out. 🤷♀️ It's not like mourning him will bring him back.Yes, anyone one believes another is a scumbag, then it's okay to kill the scumbag. What could go wrong?
