I know many people dose every five days, but do any of us break down the 5mg, 10, etc., and inject daily?

I’d like to just keep it stable in my system. When I’m on the downhill, waiting for injection day, all I can do is think about food and snack. I can feel my body crashing out. 😭. Is it possible to dose in varying ways, instead of the plain old every 5/7 days?

I like to play around with it to see what really works for me because no 2 people are alike. You can break 10mg down into 2mg for 5 days....take 5mg break down into 1mg for 5 days or take 10mg split every 3 days. Whatever works for you... this is one good reason I love researching.....

If you want to know peaks and valleys on split dose you can look here: PLOTTER

Although some claims have been posted by others in the forum that there is a benefit allowing the pep to work as prescribed to avoid saturation, anecdotally many split dose, though I have not seen anyone post they do daily, 3.5 days has been posted by a few, as well as 5/2 and mixing 7 days on one GLP1 and 2 days later on stacked.

Same! I actually just fell down the rabbit hole on this one hard and did a dozen or so hours of research. It's actually significantly more difficult than you'd think to keep your dose stable. It's known as pharmacokinetic steady-state or steady-state concentration.

Essentially, using the half life of sema (7 days) or tirzep (5 days) and accounting for the bioavailability of sema (89%) or tirz (80%) you can calculate the fractional loss rate you're experiencing between doses, and seek to replenish just that amount. After X cycles of your injection the dosage within your body will reach the ready-state and be your specific dosage.

> dose = (1-0.5^(injection_cycle / half_life )) / bioavailability

So if you want to maintain a dose of 5.5mg tirz;

> Tirz: 5.5*(1-0.5^(3/5))/0.8 = 2.339 = 2.4mg

So you'd inject 2.4mg every 3 days to maintain a 5.5mg steady-state. I just started this cycle today instead of titrating up to the next dose and I'm going to see if this works better or worse over time.

This actually plots closely to your calculations. valley 5.5 and peak 6.6=
Sadly it takes 9 doses (27 days) to get there as you have diminishing returns on the 1/2 life while building up your base level. you do not peak until dose 9 and you may soon titrate by then.
A more accurate use would be to pin 5mg and then stack your doses to minimize peaks and valleys.

This calculator will let you play with the various options.

So what is the best hourly dose? Can I drive with an IV drip? 😀

I barely tried 5-day dosing and was not impressed. In any case, minimizing food noise for all seven days of the week (like the last two days before a weekly injection) may not translate to the scale, at least in my case.

So I will have tirz on a weekly schedule only, though I will probably add another GLP later on.

I was the same, it was amazing to me that the benefit was not necessarilly food noise but food management. I did not hit goal by not eating, I hit goal by eating healthier and less. When I had extreme cravings I tried to fill up on high protein, low carb, low cal.
The tirz just made it easier. I think tracking calories benefited as well, I did not want to have a bad tracking day. Sometimes the cravings would hit day 3 or 4, I would make a big bowl of soup, very low calorie, and eat several cups of it- Stomach full with a hot meal that was 200-300 calories and it got me past my craving.

Don't get me wrong, the Tirz made it manageable and having lots of healthy options available helped me succeed.

I always dosed every 4 days to avoid the hunger pangs. It worked.

Yes, it did help with the food noise and eating less, which is why I was surprised the scale didn't go down. I didn't monitor my calories though, and I wish there was an accurate scale for body comp changes. I am also biased because I need to justify adding another GLP 😀
