SS-31 + MOTs-C vs NAD+

Add me to the 5%
I haven't tried it yet. I have a couple kits of KLOW, but I'm finishing this protocol first. I'm not counting on it as my allergies suck. Even that picture of your dog makes me wheeze. 🤧

I've read that only 5% of the population don't get a histamine reaction to GHK-CU. It must carry over to Mots-C. Lucky dog.
Hopefully this is true. I don’t get a reaction from klow at all. I will be starting the Mots C part in two weeks and I’m not looking forward to any reactions. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

That's good to hear. Did you get any flushing when you first started SS-31? I feel like my internal temperature went up a several degrees. I may split dose Mots-C for the first week due to the spice. I'm not sure if that will make it better or worse.
The days that stacked NAD+ and SS-31, you could really feel an energy push. Never felt flushed but kind of tingly. Like internal goosebumps. I liked it, let me know something was going on.

Yeah, turned out it only lasted for a few hours. I knew something was up, too.

Yeah, the fatigue from GLPs can really suck but eventually went away for me (unless I up the dose again). I never used controlled substances until I had tirz fatigue (taking modafinil from India and hopping on TRT).

Caffeine pills from Walmart may be just as helpful though (or just raising carb/calorie intake or adding electrolyte drinks if not drinking enough).

Some mild dehyration seems surprisingly common with GLPs due to lessening the desire for everything sometimes.
I started with caffeine pills a month or two ago to combat fatigue and I swear by them now. Just basic 100mg Nutricost ones from Amazon, I keep them by the bed and take 2-3 when I wake up with some L-Theanine. I used to have cabinet/fridge stacked with energy drinks of different kinds for whenever I really needed to do something, and just dealt with the jitters and crash that came with. I’ll never go back lol. The caffeine pills are so much smoother, no jitters, the energy lasts longer and no crash. I’m interested in Mots/SS etc for the workout and health benefits but for just a straight morning energy boost the caffeine pills are a more than workable option

Unfortunately I can add to the Motsc reaction issue. Doing the nad ss31 mots protocol also. Started Mots after 8 weeks, noticed I was scratching areas of my face all day. Could only handle 2 weeks, 3xs a week. This week, none, and noticed no itching in my face anymore.
I'm pretty bummed because I reconned 3 10mg vials into 1 cart to last a month.
Weird but it was mostly my nose that was itchy!
No issues with Klow though. I've cycled that several times....now just a ghk/kpv mix.

Bummer. I'm just finishing my first week of SS-31 on the 14-week protocol. I'm going to be bummed if I get because, for some reason, I bought 2 kits. If I can make it through the full six weeks, that will kill 90 mg so I'll have enough for another cycle at some point.

I just saw a post on Reddit (complete with diagrams) that recommends Mots-C be injected IM because it increases efficacy quite a bit. I can only imagine what that would feel like doing it 18 times. No thanks, I'll do it the less efficient way and live.

Have any of you that are getting really bad reactions with large doses (5 mg) tried microdosing? VigorousSteve on YT is an advocate for running smaller doses more frequently, even daily.
Steve had a very bad reaction from it as well, did you see the video?
There's been reports of bad reactions on reddit, I'm wondering if I should even try one of my vials at this point.

I don't know that you can go by other reactions because everyone is different. It's clear that a lot of people are fine as the protocol is fairly popular, even here. I'm going to attempt to mitigate any adverse reaction by titrating up. 1 mg the first week, 2.5 mg the second and then 5 mg per the protocol. I'll monitor and play it by ear as I go.

I am on my 16th dose of 2mg GLOW, reconstituted to make the dose 12units . My research began with a lot of precautionary work. At first, the RS took an oral anti-histamine, injected in 3 spots for 1 dose, zinc, vibe gun, 1/2 inch pin. Thought there was no ISR at first. After a couple hours the subject experienced a dull pain in the glute injexshun area. Nothing bad at all. After the first experience the most of the precautions ended. Only have had a few ISRs to mention. Once or twice a faint bruise showed up on the abdominal site. Very little discomfort reptorted. All I can say is PHEW. Lots of anxiety reading about others and their experiences with GLOW and GHKcu.

Awesome and nice job. That's the classic Anela protocol. Glad it's working out.

Good idea. When do you begin the MOTSc part?

I still have 5 weeks left on SS-31, so a while. It's funny because after a week, I can't tell if I'm taking it or not. I lot of people mention an energy boost, but I'm not noticing it. I wonder if it's because I've been taking oral NR for so many years? I guess we'll see after I'm done with it.

About the same for me. The days when NAD+ and SS-31 are stacked. I still get the energy boost. I’ve got 6 more SS-31 doses the right into MOTSc.

I don't know if I would call it an energy boost for me but I just stay consistently alert throughout the day. I haven't had that "I'm so tired" feeling in the afternoon while I'm at work, so that's cool. When I get home, I want to do something besides crash on the couch! If I could just get my head in 1 place though.....I can't get focused, but that's just me, even on Vyvanse! And no, the Vyvanse isn't what's giving me the energy. I've been on that since 2009. How I feel since starting NAD and now SS-31 is different, and better.
As for the reaction I had, wanting to scratch my face off, lol....I thought about continuing and trying if I had some prednisone on hand. I just didn't want to take a chance at having a worse reaction requiring a visit to urgent care for a shot of epi. Years ago, I had sudden hives and my eyes and lips swelled up. Drove myself to the ER...that was scary and I never figured out what did it!
Hmmm....time to do a pharma search 😎

Yeah, that's definitely a warning sign. An ISR like a welt is a local reaction, but hives and itching is a systemic one where your body is saying "Get that away from me!". You don't mess with that. As someone with allergies, that's my fear with this hobby, that I run into one like that. You'll just have to be happy with the first two in the protocol.

SS-31 just isn't hitting me that way yet. I have the COA and it shows a slight overfill and 99.625% so the peptide is good. It has only been a week, so I'll keep going.
