Hello ,

a quick discussion , I am on reta , 2.5 per week planning to start Mots-C but hearing a lot about SS31 , I read and saw videos I understand the roles of what it does , I am curious to know what’s your experience and tips if any you wana share for a newbie

Posted here because wanted to know how this works with Reta

Reta is supposed to clean house on damaged mitochondria. So adding MOTS-c may give you a boost. Some people say the get clean, non-jittery energy from it, others say its does nothing for them. That said, when I use it, I notice it more in its absence-- its effect for me is very subtle. Like I catch myself powering through the day better even though I feel tired. When I am not on it, I am more likely to take a nap. I can't speak to SS31, though I am curious about it myself.

I ran SS-31 for 6 weeks and then Mots-C. I'm following the 14-week protocol that you can find here. It's been posted several times. The thesis is that SS-31 rebuilds the function of any damaged mitochondria and the Mots-c then recharges and optimizes them. I also take 600 mg of NR daily. I didn't feel much on the SS-31, although many do, but Mots-C is like rocket fuel so maybe SS-31 did it's job. The protocol specifies 5 mg of Mots-C on MFW for 6 weeks, but I had to drop to 3 mg because it was just too much, although I may try 5 mg again after some time at 3 mg. The protocol was on aged rats, which corresponds to older people, of which I am one. Younger people may not get the same results because they haven't incurred the damage that age brings.
