I have been using MOTS-C 1.3mg a day for 5 weeks and it has been working great. I did not take SS-31 before taking MOTS-C.
I was thinking about taking it with my MOTS-C. Would it work along side MOTS-C or do I need to stop MOTS-C and take SS-31 for 4-5 weeks and then switch back to MOTS-C. Any thoughts?

There isn’t just one recommended approach, but several, if you’ve had a lifetime of poor habits, SS-31 is often advised first to support the microconidia before introducing MOTS-C, then you can “run the engine” with MOTS-C and NAD+, in some cases there’s no evidence against using both SS-31 and MOTS-C at the same time if you’re already healthy, for most people it’s SS-31 first, then MOTS-C, and during MOTS-c cycle breaks you can use SS-31 again, I would recommend running every two MOTS-C Cycles.

My suggestion would be:
NAD+ From the beginning (Continuous use is acceptable)
x10 Vials 10mg SS31 - 5mg per day for 20 days
x8 Vials 10mg Mots-c - 3.3mg x3 days per week for 8 weeks - 4 week break
x8 Vials 10mg Mots-c - 3.3mg x3 days per week for 8 weeks - 4 week break
Then Repeat SS31 during Mots-c cycle break
So you are cycling SS31 every 2 Mots-c cycles

But this can be done in multiple ways with everyone having different views, but this is my personal guide that could be changed to suit you in different ways

I was doing the SS-31 and NAD+ first protocol and was waiting to add the Mots-c but then saw a video about running at the same time and made the switch. Now running both at the same time and I'm finding the combo is helping with energy at the gym.

Here is the video:

I am not keen on NAD+ just to throw that in there as well and I'm thinking of dropping it.

I don’t understand what you mean by x10, x8, etc..
What does x10 10mg SS-31 - 5mg per day for 20 days mean? I understand the take 5mg of SS-31 for 20 days, but what does the x10 mean?

What don’t you like about the NAD+?

All the stuff in peoples' protocols are just made up. There is exactly zero science on using those peptides together or sequentially.

SS-31 is approved for a genetic mitochondrial dysfunction disorder, Barth syndrome, it has had a few trials in humans for various purposes, but the results were generally disappointing and they more or less gave up on future trials on more general purpose therapies with it. Apart from animal studies, I am not aware of any ongoing drug development for it for anything else apart from Barth syndrome.

Mots-c or a slight variant on it, CB4211 has had one phase 1 trial and is supposed to be having a phase 2 trial for fatty liver disease. That's it for human trials.

For both peptides there are various different studies showing effects in mice or cells, that sound interesting, but less than one in 10 interesting drugs turn out to work when tested in clinical trials in humans, and assuming cell or animal studies will show the same effects in humans is not a safe or reasonable assumption, given the less than 1 in 10 figure mentioned. As far as I know there is no cell or animal evidence for using them together on in sequence either.

Someone at some point obviously had a theory as to why they might work in that sequence, and it makes a good sounding story to sell peptides, but it has no scientific validity.

Both peptides do have real biological effects, I think SS-31 has had enough trials to show it does not do the things they hoped it would like treat heart failure, but it did not cause harm in the trials.

Mots-c sounds even more interesting, acting like exercise in a pill for mice, but a single phase 1 study for liver disease does not in any way prove it is safe in humans or has the same metabolic benefits it does in mice. There is a small chance it will eventually be proven to be safe and useful, but it has a lot of steps to get through before that can happen, and would require a drug company to believe it is good enough to be worth spending millions on trials,. One thinks that is the case for fatty liver , and is doing development work on it, but even those trials are not going to prove it helps for other issues.

Thank you. I know it is basically hit or miss. I guess it can’t hurt to try some SS-31. MORS-C has been working great for me. It has changed my life…

I am trying to understand Mots-C better. Can you expand on how it has changed your life? What are the benefits you were looking for and what did you see when on it?

Before I started taking MOTS-C I suffered from excessive daytime sleepiness. The doctor prescribed me new Nuvigil to deal with it. But with the Nuvigil, it would work for a few days and then my body would get used to to it and it would stop working. So I would have to stay off of it for a few days to a week. Before taking it again. So basically I was always tired and run down. Now after starting the MOTS-C, I mo longer am tired or run down. I completely stopped taking the Nuvigil because I don’t need it anymore…

Thanks for that, nicely laid out I understood that very easily even with a hangover appreciated 👍
