Hello everyone. So for a month and a half i was using Reta and it was working wonderfully. Then I switched to tirz. I switched to tirz for the cardiovascular benefits. I started at 2.5mg like most people do. First week I was not really hungry like I was on Reta. Did my 2nd dose yesterday and today I’m the hungriest I have been since before Reta. I don’t know if last week some Reta was still in my system or not but I am so hungry today after my 2nd dose yesterday. I got the tirz from a very reliable vendor on here so I don’t think it’s bunk but something isn’t working like I was on Reta. I’m sure Reta offers the same cardiovascular benefits,I would just like to see them published. Has anyone else had any similar experience or situations. Thanks everyone

I had the opposite experience, but I take prescribed tirzepatide (Mounjaro). I stopped tirzepatide and switched to retatrutide for one month. Even at just 1 mg of retatrutide, I experienced an increased heart rate, higher fasting glucose levels, and the food noise came back. After switching back to Mounjaro, my glucose, heart rate, and appetite control all returned to normal.

Reta did raise my heart rate a good bit but I definitely wasn’t hungry lol

What was your last dose of reta? You could try to plug it into a half life calculator and get a good idea of whether the overlap is a factor, but reta's half life is 6 days, so yes, you still had some in your system when you switched. Most people report greater appetite suppression with tirz, but that's general feedback without considering dose etc.

I would suggest being patient. Switching after only 6 weeks on a protocol suggests you might benefit from more research / planning.

I started at 1 mg of retatrutide, but I had to lower the dose to 0.5 mg because the GI side effects at 1 mg were too severe. I gave myself a one-week washout period from tirzepatide before starting retatrutide and stayed on retatrutide for a month. I am currently on 5 mg of prescribed Mounjaro (tirzepatide).

Sometimes it takes Tirz up to 48 hours, sometimes a bit longer to kick in. Give it another day or two.

Reta stays in your system for around 32 days.
