Hi All. I have been into health and fitness and weightlifting for the majority of my adult life and am coming at my questions from this perspective as it relates to 'weight' management. During my younger years, when reaching a weight I considered 'too much', I could always easily diet and exercise back down to where I wanted to be.

However, as I've gotten older (now 52), and having reached that threshold once again, I am finding it much more difficult (not surprisingly). to get back down to where I want to be. I have used versions of carnivore and keto (currently) from a diet perspective and they have been effective, coupled with pretty intense cardio 4 - 5 days per week (45 minutes on treadmill), but much to my dismay, I'm finding it difficult to get that 'last bit' off.

When I stumbled upon the peptide rabbit whole, I was initially drawn to reta and still like what I read about it from the triple-agonist perspective, especially its glucagon component and have spent a ton of time learning more about it.

But, the more I think about it, given that I am able to stick to a strict diet and exercise and don't really need something to help reduce what I eat / suppress my appetite, nor do I prefer some of the side-effects of that component (constipation in particular), I'm not really sure 'reta' is the best option. Because of this, I've begun to shift my focus to peptides that I think I would benefit more from for stimulating my metabolism and/or attacking the remaining stomach / visceral fat that I'm finding difficult to eliminate.

Given the above, would considering / leaning more towards peptides like tesamorelin, ipamorelion, CJC-1295, and Mots-c make more sense for 'fine-tuning' things versus GLP type peptides, and if so, am I on the right path and/or any recommendations for someone just getting started?

Thanks for any insight.
