I placed an order with JEEP, got all my bits and jabbed yesterday. Feel really sick and lethargic today.

Im wondering if the Reta I was taking before was underdosed or fake?!

Anything over the counter I can get in the UK to help? The only tips I'm seeing is to eat smaller meals, avoid fatty food etc.

What about medications like travel sickness pills or something? Will they help?

Edit: obviously I will reduce the dose next time but it's already too late to do anything about that now for this week.

Drink lots of water take electrolytes. Zofran helps nausea

How much did you take? Where was your previous batch from

I suppose your dose from the new vendor was too high, given that your old vendor sent underdosed stuff. How much did you take?

Zofran is prescription only in the UK ☹️ I don't know what I'd have to tell my GP to get a prescription for it?

I took 9mg, previous batch was from a supplier on indiaMART, I hadn't been getting on too well with it either, was gaining weight after switching from Tirz and really hungry. I have a couple of posts on here about it.

I would give it a week or two untill you get relief, and then I would perhaps halve the dose, or more. Gaining 1kg of weight a week on 9mg of Reta doesn't make sense, so I would "think" your previous Reta was fake and you just jumped into 9mg of Reta, that would pack a serious punch...

I use the Jeep stuff. Typically overfilled by a few mg. I still blast at the advertised mg, but I know I'm getting more. At my higher doses it does not effect me much anymore. Lower doses most likely would.

This is my best guess too, I tapered off Tirz thinking I was running reta but wasn't. Then jumped in at 9mg.

Long term, a couple kilos doesn't much matter compared to your overall health and safety. If you are sure you have the real thing now, consider starting over on the dosing schedule...try 2mg for 4 weeks before moving up to 4mg. Unlikely you'll gain very much and you can adjust to side effects

Yes, the gain isn't all fat. Likely some water and mineral retention, and some muscle. My overall composition looks better than it did at this weight when I was losing on Tirz.

I think you're right though, was planning on waiting until I fell normal again and dropping to 3mg then seeing how it goes.

I have enough reta to ron 10mg a week for a year, I guess it's going to last me longer than that...

I suggest hydrating very well, I am sorry you had this happen. Check the COA for your batch, which was probably overfilled.. you can add more bac to get to the right dilution or figure out the smaller more appropriate dose amount for next time.
I never pin a full dose of a new vial for this reason, even if I have reconned according to the COA..I always test with a very small dose. If its all good then I go higher. Besides overfill there can be something you are allergic to, etc..

Wait, are people really just dosing based on the amount they bought vs the overfill? Some of these vendors can overfill by almost 10mg. I thought everyone doses based off the COA. Wow.
Unfortunately people often start things without all the necessary information. I keep seeing people asking what COAs are.. Coming over from Compounding or from Prescription they havent been given any information on testing.

Thanks for the tip, where do I find this information?

Man, that does suck.

In this case they dosed based on a previous vial that sounds like it was nothing ... so it wouldn't matter if it was accurately labeled or not.

Honestly, sometimes it just happens. Especially if there might have already been an underlying little bug you didn't know you had. It also reminds us how important it is to have some level of reliable test results to have a better idea of the contents of any given vial.

Just deal with it as best you can, staying hydrated as mentioned and it will eventually pass. If you can find meclizine that can help with nausea (it's the active ingredient in a lot of OTC motion sickness meds like "less drowsy" Dramamine here in the US).

Some of the sizes do not have COAs yet, like the R10

That previous vial was from a different seller though, as i understand.

I havent ordered from them. Most vendors put links to the coa on their discord or telegram. or website if they have one... you could ask the contact person.
What was the reta you ordered? was it 10, 15, 30?
There was a test result for one of those mentioned in another thread.
I would caution against buying any peptide without a coa. unless you are buying for stock, and can wait to see if a test gets done. Otherwise you are flying blind.

Something akin to that happened to me last Saturday when I titrated my dose of Reta. Started Sunday night: Shivering, stomach issues ( like I had gas that needed to pass ), malaise and fatigue in the AM.
Now sadly I'm old and even though I marked my vial with the correct dose to take I can't say FOR CERTAIN that I didn't stupidly take the same amount ( 40iu had been my 2mg dose for a month-twice weekly ) that I had been. It took a bit over a day to start to return to normal.
What I can say for certain is that this Saturday I repeated it WITH 20iu= 4mg and have not experienced "the unpleasantness" of last week. I've decided not to split the dose but to do once every week/6 days or so.
That's my recent story. Make of it what you will. 🫡
