Switching from tirz to reta

Hello everyone!

So last week I had my first dose of a 7.5 tirz (5 before that). However, I wasn't getting much effect so I pinned 2 reta. I have had such a more noticable effect on reta I want to switch from tirz. Should I go back to 5 tirz while doing the 2 reta? Then just increase reta while decreasing tirz every 4 weeks?

Is that how it works?

I really don't know the best protocol for switching but I'm curious why you didn't wait a little longer for the 7.5 mg to hit. Did the 5mg ever do anything for you? Weight, feels? How long were you on 5. You may have posted and I'm just being lazy not going over your posts.

You had a single dose of Tirzepatide at that high of a dosage and got nothing from it? If you've just had two doses of the stuff I'd wait for effects to fully kick in. That said, even on a minimum dose at first I had effects both good and bad. It's variable for everyone but I hope yo have reliable medication. 7.5mg is a higher dose than I've ever taken and my appetite was shut down long before that.

I take 7,5 mg of tirz I, took my third shot two days ago. Feel very little. I am even a little bit hungry. We are all different. I will also switch to reta. Plan is 7,5 mg tirz and 1 mg reta for two weeks. Then maybe 5 mg tirz 1,5 mg reta and lastly 2,5 mg tirz 2 mg reta. Two week steps.

i had great weight loss of 20% while on Tirz, for 9 months before big pharma decided they wanted a bigger slice of the pie, moved to grey tirz after a break of 3 months sourced via this forum and titrated upto 10mg, which managed to keep my weight steady for a few months before moving to Reta, I'm only on 2mg of Reta a week (been on it for 6 weeks) and my appetite is huge, i cant wait for the appetite suppression to kick in

I simply went backwards. I went down on my dose of Tirz every 4 weeks all the way to 2.5mg, then 7 days later started Reta at 2mg.
