hello,
I have received the following types of messages in communications from chinese sellers:

"Currently, due to the impact of the trade war between the United States and China, the channels for freight forwarding are unstable. Sometimes, dedicated lines are used, and sometimes express delivery is used. Logistics information needs to be updated after arriving in the United States."

Also this:
"U.S. CBP Tariff Update: Shipments from China to the U.S. are now subject to 125%-245% tariffs (final amount per CBP tax invoice).
Please stay updated with your logistics provider and pay any duties promptly to avoid delays."

What does this mean for us USA buyers?! Is it too high risk to purchase nowadays?

It means that customs inspection is more rigorous than ever and they're more likely to be seized. They're not declaring these as peptides to begin with, so the tariffs are just based on whatever the minimal value would be of whatever they're claiming this is. The problem is now that with these tariffs in place and de minimis going away in a couple of weeks, the shipping companies are on the hook for whatever is found in the packages.

It's just way riskier for the shippers to move this stuff now than it was before. I'm confident stuff will still find a way in, but more will get seized and prices will raise accordingly. Stock up what you can from US warehouses now would be my suggestion, but I'm not a fortune teller or an expert and I'm just interpreting what I can based off the internet, news, posted laws, etc.

I don't think there will ever be a major shortage of these peptides though unless the FDA or whatever really gets involved, which seems even more unlikely with the budget cuts.

So far, I have only put in small orders of a single kit, so I go with domestic shippers for that reason too, in addition to wanting to avoid seizure.

I wouldn't buy anything now unless I was desperate. Hopefully some of the trade war issues/de minimus exception stuff gets reversed once it kicks in and people complain.

Certainly, it's always a good idea to have some backup stock in case of whatever.

But in the last 30 years, has their ever been a shortage of anything in the US besides toilet paper? :D

I am anxious because a shipment from ccp is about to land in nyc and I don’t know what’s going to happen. Has there been massive hiring of customs workers recently to absorb all the work of inspecting and calculating/tariffing items? If not how could they go through all the billions-trillions of items streaming through all ports and borders? The whole thing is ridiculous. What the usa should have done was to stop all ships/trucks/planes carrying freight from landing - reroute them back to origins rather than go with this stupid tariffing idea. If goal is punishing foreign nations and encouraging us manufacturing why not go for the end goal this way instead of torturing & punishing us citizens and consumers.

The tarrifs are charged by the carriers who deliver the item not directly by customs. So you will get a bill after with what is owed. At least that is how things I've received internationally through FedEx worked.

We can't get political just cause Bee is asleep

Sometimes people in power don't think

Absolutely agree, my first goal was establish surplus supply, then optimize, and now diversify.

All of that said, the comment regarding musical chairs was specific to each vendor and I have no doubt there will be resilience in the market and demand will be supplied but at what cost/timeline.

The concept of "being left without a seat", was directed towards any given vendor may no longer ship at any given time.

The ironic thing to me is that I am spending just as much per month as I did when I bought tirz from a compounding pharmacy. But I am getting way more stuff (from buying other peptides, etc with the money I save...even dog meds from India now). And I won't have to go to the doctor's office anymore for B-12 shots since I can get them from India now too. It reminds me of Temu's tagline: "shop like a billionaire."

Similarly:

I never even wanted injectable L-Carnitine until all of you f***ers started talking about it. Each day I wake up and think “who can I give my money to today?”
Every time I think i have gotten the best peps for my research, one of you pulls another one out your ass and sends my down a new rabbit hole...

I swear I feel like I'm playing Pokémon Go... Gotta catch em all!

Thank you and fuck you at the same time!

Interestingly, it was not potential savings that drove me to research, but the possibility of supply interruption.
I do admit, my spend has increased substantially as I have discovered more potential benefits from other supplements, my quality of life has as well. I do not feel like a broken biscuit can, with no energy, and no future anymore. That, for me, is an invaluable benefit.

I find it curious to see folks worried about $1-$2 a mg, when compound cost me closer to $100mg my first month. I do not feel like these things should be commoditized in a race for the bottom for cheapest price. Let these guys make enough to inspect/inventory/ship.
Cheaper is not always better-
I will never pay the exorbitant compound prices again, but there is a happy medium for QC and Cost.
As for tariffs etc they will figure it out, in the meantime..
I may as well throw a little religion in:
"Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's"

It's gonna disrupt the market for sure, this could explain why we have a lot of promotions currently, they try to empty their inventory

US are their biggest buyer, so it'll drive price up, for sometimes at least.

Even for people outside the US, we will be affected too, they'll raise for everyone, whether it's fair or not.

I would suggest for everyone that may run out within the next 12 months to buy now
