Why do these companies all use Telegram instead of Signal? I joined Telegram and less than 24hrs without posting got banned, as in my number is banned form the platform. Seems like that happens a lot form my searches, and without any path to repair.

I'm old and never heard of either until grey... I've been lucky and TG has worked well. Except for the sketchy new friends that show up out of nowhere and act like they know me...

Telegram doesn't allow VOIP numbers such as Google Voice, and seems to be a common reason for unexplained bans.

I was banned for seemingly no reason with a Google Voice number, and haven't had any issues since rejoining with a standard wireless line.
