I’ve heard a few different comments about temperature. I have read room temperature pep with room temperature bac water. I’ve heard chill the bac water and with room temp peps. Has anybody really got down the study for this?

Bac water should be kept at room temperature in a dark place. The reason is the seal can contract slightly in the cold and allow some evaporation of the alcohol - resulting in a lower ratio of alcohol to water, reducing it's effectiveness in preventing bacterial growth. Hospira's rx label says "Store at 20 to 25°C (68 to 77°F). [See USP Controlled Room Temperature.]".

The reconstituted peps should be refrigerated to slow down the degradation of the peptide. The seal in the vials is much smaller and less flexible so the evaporation at the point would be negligible.
