I'll start, i thought the way i was bloating and not going to the bathroom was just going to be how it is but after the third week i noticed it's normalizing? So i wondered, what side effects did others have at one point that stopped when there bodies got used to it?

Sleeping is another it's gotten a little better so i wonder if that's something i can look forward to as well.

no bloating here, but dry mouth persisted for a few weeks. skin sensitivity hasn't gone away after 2 months. heart rate is no longer elevated after about 1 month. never had issues with sleep, but i've been taking melatonin for years, so idk. no pain of any sort -- excluding skin sensitivity being uncomfortable every so often -- or bowel issues. i do still feel very cold when going to bed 2 months later, but have no problem running the AC all day long, which is weird.

not pooping often has been a very strange thing to get used to lol

No sure what dose you're on. It gets worse as you titrate up, at least for me. Started mid 6mg and has continued to 8mg. Heartburn is the other, I only get it before bed sometimes on shot day. I used to get it nightly when starting.

2mg split dosed weekly, I'm really shocked at exactly one month in all my side effects have stopped... bowels back to normal , last night got 7 hours for first time in a month..

I really wonder if reduction in side effects is accompanied by reduced effectiveness of the reta as in you dont feel the appetite suppression (fuller earlier) feeling and food noise thing. I really want to know this as I dont want to go past 4mg and want to stay at 2mg as long as possible

Dizziness. Endless dizziness. And my BP is too low. I have to oversalt everything and drink the daily electrolytes. If calorie deficit is too high for the day, BAM, dizziness comes in from outta nowhere. Hoping this will pass in a month or two...

GI issues settled after the first couple of weeks. Was a lot of ‘bowel clenching’ as if I had to have a BM but not much to work with and was only at 1mg split into two doses.

Titrating up to 4mg split in the second month I dealt with a lot of fatigue, likely from the reduced caloric intake but still keeping up my gym schedule.

Anhedonia settled in at 6mg and again, very noticeable back half of month two and through month 3. This was also where I noticed skin sensitivity.

Up to 8mg a week now in month 4. Energy has stabilized and the anhedonia is a fraction of what it was, skin sensitivity has increased. It’s not painful really but it is irritating, especially around waist where pants sit and my shirt ‘rubs’ my back.

So you noticed symptoms settling before titrating but did you titrate because the symptoms stopped and the effects from reta were slowing down?

Then you're flipping lucky. We were on 4mg for 6 weeks, and that feeling just went flat. 6mg for 6 weeks, not much action towards the end of 6mg. Now 8mg is another story, I still feel totally full all the time. Appetite sucks, sleep sucks, but the heartburn has basically stopped. On 8 for 4 weeks and plan to stay here till I hit goal, about 10lbs more. Then I'll figure a maintenance dose.

Both, the GI distress stopped and the next week the evening food noise came back pretty loud. I also went from 1mg, 2mg, 3mg, 4mg, 5mg, 6mg, 7mg, 8mg weekly with split dosing, didn’t just double like standard protocol. The above thresholds were just where I noticed the main side effects sitting in or dissipating. Only increased when I found myself craving food late at night despite a protein shake or something light.
