So I thought this would be a good place to order my first order of peptides. Clicked on the links underneath the vendor. Took me to the discord page. Started a communication with “Alice“. Ended up, deciding on my order and sent my payment through bitcoin. No response Now for three days. Now they are asking for “$200 more to clear through customs“. Pretty much certain this is a scam and I just lost 800 bucks! Buyer beware

It's like "Alice" asked chat gpt for a scam response! Providing a crypto receipt to a carrier is not a thing!

She is a legitimate vendor. By that, I mean she has fulfilled purchases before. I do note that she promises to reship stuff if you have customs problems. I don't actually understand her message. Ask for clarification. But I wouldn't send any additional money to her other than for a new order after you received this order.

It appears from your image that this conversation took place in Discord messaging. What is the actual user name shown if you click on the display name?

I'm sorry but it looks like you fell for a scam. Alice's name on TG is "No.1 Alice".

Honestly, I don't believe this was the real Alice that scammed anyone here. I've dealt with her and this doesn't look like how she would converse.
Until some more details are provided and there is an understanding of what happened and who was responsible, I think it's unfair to Alice to have this headline. I do think it's important to warn folks about scammers, But we can't just smear a vendor if the OP may have been duped by a predatory bad actor.

Alicepeptides is the name in discord. I clicked on the discord server link provided on her Vendor account here in this forum? I’m not sure what is going on other than I’ve been ghosted now by TFC. I

This is not me. Recently, many clients have encountered scammers. These scammers impersonate suppliers.

It's not just me; many suppliers have encountered this impersonation.

They usually use the same profile picture, with only slight differences in the username.

I have repeatedly warned everyone in my groups to be wary of scammers.

This is my only account. You must have encountered a scammer.

This is what I have probably now figured out. I followed the link to the discord server for Alice. Shortly after joining the server I received a message from someone claiming to be Alice who basically asked “how can I assist you“ are you ready to place an order??“ I then communicated back-and-forth through the message section on discord with whom I thought was Alice. Apparently that was not the case. Be very careful messaging people on discord claiming to be a representative of one of the vendors. Obviously I was scammed and taken. This is my first time on discord so the messaging section, as well as being on the discord group was confusing to me and I let my inexperience play into the hands of the scammers. This was probably all my fault and has nothing to do with TFC and Alice.

If you read jellybelly54's post, he (or she) suggests that he followed the links from Alice's official vendor page. "So I thought this would be a good place to order my first order of peptides. Clicked on the links underneath the vendor. Took me to the discord page. Started a communication with 'Alice'." I'm skeptical things happened exactly as described. I'll include a hyperlink from a post from Alice that shows her contact information: https://glp1forum.com/threads/tfc-every-week-crazy-thursday-big-sale-welcome-to-order.2961/

Just to double-check and "follow in your footsteps" to see what would happen, I clicked on the link to Alice's Discord server, and when viewing her profile saw the same image she posted above with the 'alicetfcpeptides' username, not 'alicepeptides', so it would appear that you unfortunately fell victim to an impersonation scam (always remember that the name displayed in Discord is not always the same as the permanent user name, so always check their profile for the user name that they can't change).

Impersonation scams are disturbingly common, so double- and triple-checking the identity of the person with whom you're communicating is critical.

Even more important is NEVER, EVER SEND MONEY TO SOMEONE WHO CONTACTS YOU! That is the #1 sign of a scam. Reputable vendors do not need to contact potential customers out of the blue.

While not foolproof, IMHO the most sensible way to contact any vendor -- especially the ones who advertise here -- is to only use the contact information they personally post. Honestly, at this point I would be very reluctant to even consider contacting a vendor via contact information I found on Discord, Telegram, or any other social media. While I can't guarantee that a vendor's account here couldn't be hacked, the restrictions in place for new users (including not being able to send DM's) should be reasonably effective at weeding out most impersonation attempts.

I figured out exactly what happened now for anyone following this thread still. When you click on the links provided on any of the vendor forms, especially the discord server link it will take you to discord and you get an invitation to join the server. I did that with TFC Alice. After joining the server, I got a message from “Alice“. I assumed I was just getting a welcome message for joining the server, (which is kind of what it said). The message Had the same picture and the message came from someone named Alicepeptides. This was my very first time using discord by the way.I asked if this is where I talk about making an order and the reply was yes. I began the process of ordering through the messaging section on discord thinking I was communicating with a legitimate company person with TFC. Turns out somebody just sent me a scam message, and I fell for it.

This person sent me repeated friend requests I deleted.
