Thoughts on sharing a vial with a spouse?

I share with my wife and friends. Always new needle. Never a problem. I give doses to my friends all the time. Keeps my stock fresh. I wouldn't want a friend or my wife to get sick. So I stick myself with every vial, before anyone else. There's no better way to create a believer than give a free sample of reta to a fat ftiend.

I've shared a vial with my dog!

Better: buy 2 pens and split in 2 cartridges.

It'll keep you from feeling like two junkies sharing a fix. And there are so many other interesting ways to be close as a couple.
This is the way.

I mean.. even botox vials are shared between strangers in clinics, in case people weren’t aware. What matters is how many times the vial is punctured and whether sterile technique is maintained, not who the product is injected into.

If someones too anal to share with a spouse theyre a fucking asshole germophobe and should sleep in the garage.... yall exchanged bodily fluids and likely put a tongue, digit or weiner in her butt, simmer down....
It’s me. ✋🏼 I am the asshole in this marriage. Certified germophobe, but that’s not the issue here, I know how to not cross contaminate. I just don’t like to share. 😑 Maybe when I go grey and cost is less of a factor…. nah, nevermind. What’s mine is mine. And keep your fork out of my plate.

I share. I bought Reta 60 to save some change and then we both pin 8mg a week. This way we beat the expiration date. I still feel like the 4th dose is weaker than the 1st, but it'se better than stretching it out another week or two.

How much BAC are you mixing in the R60?

Hi. Both my wife an I were on doctor-prescribed liraglutides, but we had to stop because it was cost-prohibitive.
We are now switching to reta, I've started, and she will start soon.

We plan to reconstitute one vial at a time and both draw from it, which seems much more efficient than reconstituting two vials, especially early on when our doses are low.
Obviously, I know sharing needless is a big no no, but assuming all needles and syringes (including BAC water mixing ones) are strictly single use and only ever pierce the vial once per needle and syringe, is there any danger in sharing one vial vs having a vial each?

The alternative is to buy empty sterile vials and split the vial post-reconstitution, but I'm not sure if that's significantly better, but it is more hassle.
My wife and I use the same vial of tirazeptide 60 and Semax 30. I don't see a problem with it, we wipe the top of the vials with alcohol and always use new syringe.

you know, I CAN think of one possible reason not to share a vial with a spouse; since there IS a risk of massive overfill, endos, contamination etc, there's an argument for not only not sharing vials, but not sharing kits. If you happen to get a vial with ridiculous overfill, ridiculous high endotoxin level, wrong pep, or something else that could get you terribly sick, and BOTH of you are using that same vial, then you're gonna be in terrible shape when you both have to be in the ER or are both puking for a week and there's no one to bring soup and feed the cats and take the kids to school or whatever married people do to co-manage a house.

If you keep your kits separate and are careful in your buying practices, the (already low) risk of that becomes much lower. It's the kind of thing that would almost certainly never happen, but if it did, it'd be the worst several weeks ever because it might be both of you.

Yeah. Not a bad idea to stagger pinning days. Maybe not 24 but 48hrs should do. I can't believe any gremlins would show up after 48 hrs.

Damb you AirDaddy! I spewed coffee all over this fuckin tablet! 🤣
