I was on Tirz, 12.5mg at the end. In 18 months, I had lost 80lbs, but then stalled for 6 months (a very loooong 6 months).

Titrated down from Tirz and up on Reta. Been entirely off Tirz for 8 weeks, and on Reta for 6. I'm doing Reta - 2mg every 3 days, or 4mg a week (a day short of a week, technically). I do have more energy. I'm lifting three days a week, getting my steps in, tracking protein, etc. I've also gained 6 lbs. I'm not seeing any non-scale wins; pants are still snug. If I were seeing other things, I wouldn't be posting now, asking if I should go up, lol.

I'm now four weeks in on the 2mg every 3 days/4mg a week dose. I know the magic doesn't always kick in until higher doses for those who were on another GLP1 prior. My question is, is it time to go up? Next week will be week 7 of Reta for me. Is it time to go up? I'm trying to balance my impatience with this community's wisdom. I haven't had any ill effects on Reta, but I also never had any issues with Tirz.

I appreciate any insights you can provide.

I can't wait to get up to 8mg, this damn skin sensitivity is holding me back. Sitting at 6mg and still getting pin prickling and itching
Tell me more about this, I haven't read about skin side effects. What are you getting and where? Are you dosing once a week?

I'm 9 weeks in and worked my way up to 6mg pw, 1 shot pw.
At around w2 I was getting skin sensitivity and tingling which was bearable but occasionally I would get this painful itching that felt like I was being poked with needles at random times and random locations. I switched my injection site to my legs and things improved immensely however last week my legs were sore from running so I poked in the belly thinking that the skin thing was just a beginners symptom that I was past.. NOPE it's back really bad for the last 8 days, my last shot was in my thigh so hopefully it'll go away again

Regarding the skins sensitivity and pain, sounds awful. Retatrutide is good but would have me considering Tirzepatide and stack with low dose Semaglutide or Cagrilintide.
