Ron PaulName one bureaucrat or politician on any side of any aisle that hasn’t been bought and paid for.
Nobody is stopping anyone from doing clinical studies. There HAVE been some studies on BPC, like the medical literature review of ortho clinics in Florida doing injections directly into the joint. The European patent expired, and the US patent expires soon. It's owned by a Croatian company that's actually been trying to sell the patent, but nobody is buying. Because it doesn't show any potential for profit. We wouldn't know the results if we never had human studies. There was significant headway made in mice studies. I take it 2x a week for my labrum repair surgery and I am progressing far more rapidly compared to the standard post op timeline. Why do so many professional athletes take it? You would think something with such significant healing properties would be further studied. Not trying to be a tin hat guy but just throwing the idea out there.
I do understand your take regarding the financial side of things and how it would affect studying it, proceeding with fda approval, etc.
The whole BPC not being patentable is a myth. It's actually currently still under US patent by a Croatian company called Diagen.Nobody is going to spend hundreds of millions on medical trials to get FDA approval for something that can't be patented. You would never be able to recover the costs.
When I say nobody maybe someone will setup a foundation and actually use the money for something other than money laundering, LOFL. Or a lotto winner will instead of hookers,B.L.O.w, and Uyghur organs.
