Welp. It looks like my local mail carrier has disappeared my group buy order with months worth of my tirzepatide. I can’t afford to replace it for awhile, so I guess I will switch over to some Reta I have on hand. I just went up to 15 mg of tirz and take .3 cagri mid week for suppression.

Can anyone recommend starting dose of Reta if I have to go cold turkey off tirz 15? I only have one dose left of the tirz.

Reta is a little bit different than Tirz and it works on an additional receptor. I would start at the lowest dose and titrate up after a week if you don’t notice anything. Below is a generic dosage schedule for Retatrutide…

Week
1-4 1mg
5-8 2mg
9-12 4mg
13-16 8mg
17+ 12mg

Phase 3 trial dosage is:

2,4,6,9,12

I did exactly this. I started at 5mg Retatrutide after 15mg Tirzepatide with no ill effects. I titrated up to 7.5mg and then to 10mg and rode that out a while.

With the cardiovascular side effects reta is known to possess, I personally would recommend following the trial dosing. Maybe do 3 weeks per stage instead of 4 if you're really wanting to push it, but gambling with your heart health just to ramp up faster seems like a poor risk to reward ratio to me.

yep. Personally id be more comfortable with 15,20 even 25mg of tirz weekly. Every rat is different though.

I can share with you my personal experience as I have tried both. Tirz15 equals to about reta10-12 for me.
I’ve tried a few different vendors reta thats why I said around ret10-12.
Tirz is always less stronger compared to reta.
In comparison sema is the strongest of the 3 Glp1s.
I could not exceed 1.5mgs without severe sides.

OP @GtownBrown any update? How did you titrate and how is it going?
I abandoned this effort after three weeks. I started with a low starting dose of Reta as a stack to my 12.5 tirz, then tried to lower the tirz dosage, but I got so hungry. The lower doses of Reta just don’t have that appetite suppressant effect. I decided I would wait until maintenance to make the switch. I still have 50 lbs to lose. Instead, I started doing a midweek .3mg dose of cagri, which is going well.
