Howdy,

Ive been on Terzepetide since December, currently on 7.5 and have been steadily losing weight.
Im nonbinary and I've started testosterone for transitioning my voice to a deeper pitch. I expect to only be on T for maybe 6 ish months, so it's not a permanent thing. I also take finesteride to prevent extra hair with it.
Well, since starting T my appetite is INSANE. I went from not being able to finish a burger to needing a burger, fries, and a snack after. Ive gained 3 pounds over the last 3 weeks (so 1lb /gained a week).
Do y'all recc me upping to maybe the next dose of terzepetide? I know this is a niche issue lol, but any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I would research that as your natural may not return. Could be life long.

Not exactly sure your goals, but if you are trying to lean bulk, then reta might be better than tirz for this. Lots of fitness/bodybuilder types prefer reta to tirz.

ehhh .. interesting. you do realize that your voice pitch will regress when stopping T, right?

Definitely up the tirz. Of course, you still have plenty of runway with tirz, especially with some taking 20+ mg a week.

Personally, I love reta after being on mostly tirz for a year. So I agree that switching to reta could be in your future or should be, lol. I started by stacking reta with tirz and eventually just took reta. Hard to argue with the amazing results in the studies. For some, even 1 or 2 mg of reta can be good for maintenance later on.

There's also cagri or elora as an add-on to tirz/GLPs. For starting out with cagri, a single vial for $20 can last a while at 300 mcg per week. I store my cagri in a different case to avoid accidentally taking a big dose of it, as if it was another peptide or a GLP.

Of course, there are also the relatively filling protein shakes with 30+ grams of protein. I like those when more tempted at night. Or will have a starch like a plain sweet potato. For processed foods, I am with McDougall in thinking that sugar and carbs are better for a splurge than fat. So usually for me, a treat is something like pretzels, Twizzlers, or a McDonald's Refresher instead of a brownie or cookies (until I go to Trader Joe's, haha). Though are healthy fats from whole foods like nuts and avocados, some portion control may be required.

As a vegetarian/pescatarian, being on steroids (temporarily during my AAS bro phase) helped motivate me to go back to a volume, starch-based (McDougall) diet so that I would feel satiated on corn, potatoes, pasta, etc. Whole Food's ready-to-eat barley with lentils is a surprisingly good source of protein (18 grams), not just fiber (15 grams). Even Blue Buffalo uses barley as a source of protein in dog treats, haha. And I still have a daily serving of junk food.
