Started Tirz on April 24th.

Granted, I don’t have much to lose. However, I am already down 10lbs. My husband and I started the same day. He is down 14lbs. He had a pretty bad pop habit, which seems to have been resolved as well. Tirz has made it unappealing to him lol.

Aside from the weight loss, my husband is also more active. He now joins me on my walks. I’ve also noticed a considerable difference in bloat as well.

3 months of Ozempic didn’t produce these types of results. I am floored!

Look, I know it works for some people and it pretty much pioneered everything, so that's the caveat, but...

Man alive does semaglutide/Ozempic/Wegovy suck 🤣

Great thread. And congratulations. I’m coming up on 8 weeks. But I must say. Be careful. My only advice to anyone doing GLPs is to drink your water. Keep your dose low. Shoot for no more than 3 pounds a week. Eat your protein. And to me the most important thing is to lift weights. At least two days a week. I do four days a week. All this said. If you do what I’m doing, there is nothing easy about this. It’s a daily grind completing all the tasks. But to each their own. There is nothing easy about getting in shape. There is no way I’m ending up looking like a skinny fat bag of bones. No FuKcing way.

I thought it was only pop in the Midwest. Didn't know you Canucks called it that too. It took me a decade of getting funny looks every time I called it that when I moved to the south for calling it soda to become natural.

It's still pop when I go back home to Minnesota. I still can't figure out why in Milwaukee they called drinking fountains - bubblers or that in Iowa they add an R to wash as in warsh.

Moved to MN 22 years ago and still holding strong on soda.

Deep south raised here 👋🏻 they are all cokes 😂
Everyday convo
Me "Hey going to the store, want anything "
Them "yeah get me a coke"
Me "what kind"
Them "root beer"

I think I heard once...THINK mind you, that the term bubbler came from the kind of water dispenser that takes 5 gal bottles of water turned upside down and when you dispense water air bubbles up in the big upside down water bottle...

Happy for you both. Cheers to a healthier version of ourselves!

I've been in Florida now for 21 years...kids and grandkids are there so we're up quite a bit. In a restaurant I always ask for unsweet tea and my kids give me that look...because there is no sweet tea in Minnesota.
