Hi guys, just posting to see if anyone has had a similar experience when it comes to titration. I can't help but feel I somewhat rushed my titration plan as I followed the standard 4 week schedule just out of pure greed for fastest weight loss possible.

If I'd been more patient I easily could of stretched out some doses to 6 or even 8 weeks, possibly longer before titrating. Now that I'm sitting at 15mg with 8lb to lose I feel a little uncomfortable and wondering if needed would it be "safe" to go any higher than 15mg or just try to work with it as long as possible?

I have seen some people on here suggest trying to take breaks from Tirz, trying other peps in the meantime and then returning later so that the body has competely reset its tolerance to what was used before. Thoughts/and experiences very much welcome.

I know of numerous people who have used up to 25mg as EL has begun studies up that high as well. No one can tell you if its safe or not though.

Anyone suggesting to take a break to "reset tolerance" has no idea what they are talking about. There has never been evidence of building tolerance to GLP1s in its entire body of research.

But I want to address "standard 4 week schedule" as this is a misconception. This is titration schedule for the studies and was selected as an acceptable tradeoff between time in the study and minimal participant drop out from side effects. It's not meant to be followed in clinical practice.

There are positive studies in mice, but the small human study (of only three weeks) showed no evidence of tolerance buildup with liraglutide.

Thanks for the info, didn't know that about the tiration schedule, that's just what I was advised when I was on prescription Mounjaro, I thought that was the "gold standard" for Tirz doseage, glad to see I can be more flexible.

From what I see in your intro post, your BMI is 22.4 (in the coveted healthy range of 18.5 to 24.9).

So I would consider sticking to the 15 mg weekly of tirz and (continue to) focus on body composition and/or switch to reta (for shits and giggles). But switching to reta can actually cause weight gain in the short term, at least if not stacking.

Some do take tirz every 5 days, so if you wanted to try 5-day scheduling for a higher dose, one example: You could take 12 mg of tirz every 5 days to get the equivalent of 16.8 mg a week.

Some other calculations done by Gemini:
11.5 mg every five days would be 16.1 mg weekly.
11 mg every five days would be 15.4 mg weekly.

(Since you can afford to be cautious, I would try no more than 11.5 mg every five days at first.)

For a couple weeks on tirz at 10 mg, I was very glad for public toilet stalls, haha. So I can't even imagine being on 15 mg yet.
