Hi everyone,
how do you cover the top of the vial once the vial cap is removed? I don't like that the vials stay "naked" in the fridge then i put some film all around, but to me seems a little coarse.
Are there any other tools or methods to protect the vial top?

I keep my open vials in a container (to keep out the light) and sometimes I add a vial cap.

Look for TPU caps (flexible). I've gotten vial caps from orders of other pep-related gear. Sometimes they fit and sometimes they don't. I've had a rigid vial cap pull off the silver crimp and stopper. Fortunately, it was the last dose in the vial.

Thanks for the advise! I’ve already taken a look online and I think I’m gonna buy some of that caps.

I keep vials (that are in use) in a 3d printed case with a closed top along with silicone or 3d printed caps for extra protection.

I also didn't care for their nakedness in the fridge. I save the nakedness for me skipping around the house. I will give you a moment to get that image out of your head and instead share this image of the silicon caps I got on Amazon. These are the ones that fit the 3mm peptide vials. I also got the same thing in 5mm and they fit my open BAC bottle.

I use these: —-> Vial Protective Caps
easy to clean and disinfect when I reuse them, different sizes available.

Yessss, I use these as well, I find them incredibly practical.

Thank you all for the answers, I see that there are various schools of thought about this topic, so there isn’t a standard way to preserve the vial. I think I’ll try the caps and disinfect them every time, and I’ll buy an airtight case too.

The porous nature of 3D prints, the lack of adoption of the medical community, and the ability to isolate my vials from my food storage makes the concept weird to me.

If I'm filtering a vial, I will wipe the stoppers and the vial(s) waiting to receive will have their wipe resting on top of the vial until I'm ready to use that vial... that's the extent of my covering.

Nothing, if you wipe them with alcohol you're fine. No need to overthink it and reinvent the wheel here 😮‍💨😮‍💨
Caps definitely are not a requirement. I think they are cute and they help me know what's what when I look down at them from the top.

If I was storing my vials in the same refrigerated air/space as my raw meats, rotting leftovers, coli, listeria, salmonella, staph, fungi, etc; I'd store my reconstituted vials individually in medicine bottles, which is something I've seen done in the medical field.

Kitchen refrigerators are, in general, nasty breeding grounds.

Garage fridge with nothing but beer, water and some sodas better? No food at all. @HereKittyKitty I told you garage fridges are great.

I have these ones as well, they are so cute and they look like little chef hats! I actually find it pretty handy to do some color coding, I chose green for the energy peps like mots, pink is healing for ARA or BPC, purple is skin and hair health, red is bedroom... It kind of helps me keep my stack balanced, in a way!

I got some 3mL silicone vial caps on amazon, but they were WAY too big for my vials.

Or some people actually enjoy this and it becomes something of a hobby. People like to invest time and care (and money) into the things they enjoy. It makes them happy. Don't be such a killjoy.
But if it is something that is pointless and unnecessary, and if it is something that someone may see and assume that they no longer need to wipe the top of the vial anymore, then it becomes something of a problem.
