As with many people on this forum, I'm new to peptides. I travel a lot for work and we'll be vacationing this summer as well, are there any tricks or tips for traveling with peptides? Keeping them cool? Getting through TSA? etc?

Thanks

As far as TSA, I traveled with someone with type-1 diabetes, and TSA could not have cared less about all their syringes and vials. Since our vials aren't labeled, I would use a pen instead too.

I've never had an issue going through security with my peptide (BPC-157), but I keep it in a discreet container that doesn’t draw much attention. I've heard they have been found on other people and confiscated, but no one has ever stopped me. I keep mine refrigerated when not using it, so I have been keeping it in the fridge at home before I travel and then just place it back in the refrigerator after my trip. You could probably carry a small cooler for it or something that keeps it cold and secure, but if you have a prescription label or doctor's note, that can help clarify things if TSA has questions.

I've only travelled with peptides once, but as a testosterone user (TRT) I've traveled with needles and vials of testosterone many times. Even going through places like Dubai with 10 vials and a whack of needles, nobody even batted an eye. I have a legit script for Mounjaro which I bring with me, so if anyone asks I'll just sell it as that. I honestly think putting it all in a bag with needles and stuff is better than hiding a vial in a backpack, if you're saying it's medicine then just go all in. On this last trip with peptides, I brought several pens and put several vials of BAC and raw peptide vials in my testosterone supplies, and put that all through the scanner. Nobody said a thing.

This comes up a lot. I’ve asked too probably. I bought a thermos looking thing with a usb peltier cooler that maintains a set temp but in the future I’ll just take a small vial made up for travel at room temp with just enough for the trip

We’ve done two weeks abroad with the cooler. Checked in baggage with an ice pack it’s good for about 48 hours then switched to the usb cooler for when we had rooms with no refrigerator or while traveling by train. Worked fine

We have traveled extensively domestically and internationally with no issues. Reconstituted peptides I use a small insulated zippered pouch with a 6 oz ice pack and tell TSA “here’s my meds.” They usually swab the ice pack, but not always. Still in powdered form? Just put them in my backpack with vials of BAC, which are way less than 3 oz. They couldn’t care less about syringes or alcohol pads. I’ve never been asked for a prescription. TSA ain’t in the business of doing the FDA’s job, and our research doesn’t fall under the DEA’s umbrella. “Be bold and courageous!” (Joshua 1:9)

Yah exactly this. I think the only time you may encounter any issues is going through secondary screening after landing. And in that case there is a slight chance they'd take it, but more likely I think most people could just say those are meds and they'd just let it through. If you're carrying 12 vials you might have some explaining to do, but one or two I don't think would cause many issues.
