Are there any insulin dependent diabeties using retatrutide (or any GLP1 really)?

I can't get Ozempic or any GLP1 on prescription here because of contraindictions with my insulin, doctors afraid of lows etc.

I was wondering any changes you guys needed for your basel / bolus regieme?

Usually I take 14 units of basel 8am and 8pm then bolus 1 unit per 10g carbs 15 minutes before I eat

With the delayed gastric emptying and smaller food intake I'm curious what changes others have encountered?

I would be interested in this too i have a good mate who's has asked me the same

I’ve been looking into this a bit and about to dive deeper into researching it. If it looks safe, my partner (T1D) will be starting a low dose GLP. So far from my basic research (which could be wrong since I’m in the early information stage), I think we will avoid Reta because it seems higher risk for hypoglycemia, but possibly try Tirz. He uses a Dexcom for monitoring and Omnipod for insulin delivery, so it will be easy to track changes to his basal and bolus needs. I’ll report back if we go through with it! Safety is top concern so I need to do more research before I’m comfortable getting him started.
