US and China Tariffs going down!!!

Small packages from China are still subject to tariffs of 120%, a White House official confirmed Monday — a major blow for U.S. consumers seeking cheap goods from e-commerce retailers like Shein and Temu.

Yikes, that was under-reported.

The New Tariff Structure

Basically, under the executive order issued on Monday, May 12, 2025:
- The tariff rate on small packages from China will be reduced from 120% to 54%
- The flat fee option will remain at $100 per package
- The previously planned increase to $200 in June has been canceled
- These changes will take effect on May 14, 2025 (tomorrow)

This adjustment is part of a broader trade agreement where the U.S. will reduce its overall tariffs on Chinese imports from 145% to 30% for 90 days, while China will lower its tariffs on American goods from 125% to 10%

54% is still kinda apocalyptic. Even if one doesn't care about the fees, increased scrutiny is no good for us.

Well, I support the new wave of USA peptide purveyors that this shall bring forth. I'm about to order from a new guy.

I am so relieved. One less thing to worry about when I place my first order! Now if I could only see the spreadsheet :+p
