A few months ago I was ready to order my first China gray. Talked with my rep and started the Coinbase, Binance, exodus blah blah route. My bank threw fits, it was going to take days to load my account and be able to send. I had my Coinbase locked down due to previous fraud so would have to unlock and get everything ready to send.

Remembered that buying crypto was easy on RobinHood app. They will allow you to instantly load your account and allow it to be sent immediately. Then did a bit of research and realized that USDC is nearly free to buy and transfer. Luckily my vendor took USDC.

Loaded $600 instantly into my RobinHood wallet. Transferred to their USDC wallet for less than 10 cents.

They immediately received payment and we were good to go.

No waiting, high fees or bank issues since RobinHood is one of those trusted companies.

Just some info. Hopefully it simplifies and makes it easier for you but of course all banks and vendors are different.

I am not sponsored in anyway by any thing, company or vendor:

I use Robinhood for the exact reasons you stated.

No fees to convert to USDC, funds settle instantly and transaction fees are cheap. Seems like a no brainer lol

People don't recommend non custodial wallets(like exodus) for transcations because its easy or simple. It is an additional simple step so that your Exchange account (Coinbase,PayPal,Venmo,Robinhood, etc) doesn't get frozen when a vendor gets busted.

Literally one extra transfer from Robinhood > Exodus > vendor.

The whole Coinbase, PayPal, Venmo circus was a nightmare. Spending limits, funding delays, delays to send off platform were a headache. Finding the Robinhood way made life much easier, and fellow researchers happy to get their supplies sooner. Lol

I couldn’t figure out how to pay with Robinhood. I beat my head against a wall for two days. I had a QR code and a link but couldn’t figure it out. I ended up buying crypto with Cashapp and paid with that. Someone here told me I will regret that but didn’t say why or what happens. I’ve used Cashapp a few times since then and nothing g bad so far.
