Veru's experimental drug helps older obese patients on Wegovy [semaglutide] preserve muscle while losing weight

"Patients on Veru's oral drug, enobosarm, and Wegovy lost 71% less lean muscle on average than those who received placebo and Wegovy over 16 weeks. Those who received the enobosarm and Wegovy combination lost more fat mass, Veru said."

damn, would have been a nice little bump to have this entire time

Any thoughts if this is a good price at ~$0.64? Looks like the news didn’t maintain a price spike, which could be a perfect buying opportunity. I’ve already made a small profit on Novo and Lilly, so should we get in early on this one?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think enobosarm is the same as ostarine. I took ostarine for a good portion of my body recomp journey last year (in combination with weight training and cardio), but have discontinued it now.
It is.

My understanding is that SARMs are effectively just worse than multiple types of AAS both in effects and safety profiles, but that the legal climate makes researching AAS infeasible. Plus patents are long gone so less profitable. So silly to me that our system favors producing worse drugs to solve this sort of thing vs. using what already exists.

A few times I picked stocks that I thought were good buys. I didn't actually purchase them, but I wanted to see if my predictions panned out. I learned that I do a terrible job of picking winners. I do actually invest, but only in the S & P 500, bond funds, and a target year fund (which is a mix of bonds and stocks but which doesn't try to produce winners). My results in investing while not trying to pick winners have been quite good, although there have been no miracles. As Jack Bogle, the founder of Vanguard and the first person to offer index funds to ordinary investors wrote: "Don't look for the needle in the haystack. Just buy the haystack!”

I know this is the best advice logically, so long-term, VOO and QQQ should be the majority of my investments. But I love the emotional roller coaster and speculating with psychedelic, biotech, and a few other types!

As much as I hate big pharma, the idea of buying our peps at 5-10% the US retail cost, while profiting off EL and Novo, is satisfying to me. Although it probably makes me a hypocrite.

Same here. Have enjoyed some nice Pfizer dividends.
