I got mine from Peptide Test as part of their recon and filtering kit (which has four clear 3 mL vials).where do we find sterile vialls? Thanks! 🙂
Different manufacturers call the smaller vials either 2 ML or 3 ML, we used to have them listed as 2/3 so that people were familiar with either one of those would know that they were the same thing, but that got confusing because people thought that it was two thirds instead of 2/3. We normally list them as 3 ML but it looks like they got put into the system here as two.
One exception to their positive reviews:Ks-Tek is a popular brand
Overall, this product works just fine for me. It gets the job done. I have noticed though, if you use it for multiple injections, the rubber part the needle goes through can break off a little bit and go down into the fluid in the vial, so you have to make sure you don’t accidentally get that in your syringe and inject it, because that would be dangerous and could potentially cause infection or abscess. But as long as you watch out for that though, these should work just fine. They are inexpensive, and I have bought them several times with no issues avoiding the pieces that fall in the vial.
The alk 2ml is the same size as the kstek 3mlI initially got some ks-tek on Amazon, and they were functional, but the quality isn't there. After that I got some ALK vials from qcvialz, and the quality is much better. Their shipping is pricey, so probably better if you order more than 1 pack at a time.
Here's a visual compare of 2mL size (ks-tek on left, ALK on right):

One thing I don't like about the ks-tek, is when you pull the dust cap off, it always warps the vial top, so easy for junk to get up under there. Does that practically matter? Eh...not sure. But it doesn't give me warm fuzzy feelings.
These are both sold as 2mL size, and you'll notice the ALK is bigger. I'd say this is better for pressure regulation, but since I'm not sure the ks-tek hold a seal that well, it may not matter. Take that for what it's worth.
Apart from visual differences, the ALK just feel better to me in hand, like a higher quality product.
