Vulnerable Question-are we doing a band-aid at every injection site these days?

Came across post. I wondered about bandaids at first.
After the first pin, I think removing the bandaid would hurt worse than the injection. lol. Just alcoholing before and after.

I don't even alcohol it, before or after. It's such a teensy intrusion in the skin, I get worse wounds or cuts working around my yard all day. Ain't dead yet.

I usually don't see my inj site after pinning even when I do IM w/a 1 in 25G.

I wipe w/alc pad, pin, and keep it moving. I noticed if I use an alc pad after inj sometimes it would sting so I stopped doing that.

I also avoid top of the thigh no matter the technique, gauge size, angle, etc. its leave blood behind and hurt later on. I would probably only do a band-aid if my inj site was exposed (like ur delts) and I was going out right after

Lol. I feel that. Weed eating in shorts will tear me up, but I dont do jeans in this heat unless I know its going to be a heavy workload. I prefer the pin to that all day.

Just a tip for new people, let the spot you plan to pin dry completely if you wipe it alcohol or the odds of getting an ISR goes up significantly.
