What dose of reta are you at?

I’m at week 13 now. I started at 3 mg per week and have gradually increased to 7.5 mg every fifth day. It feels like a good dose at the moment. I don’t feel hungry, but I can still eat small portions without any issues.

Currently sitting at 4mg/week.. bumped up about 2 weeks ago after 3 months cruising at 2.5mg.

Honestly, 2.5mg was doing solid work, appetite was dialed in, weight was moving, but I stalled a bit as my body adapted. I'm pushing hard for sub-10% BF right now (currently ~11%), so I decided it was time to push the dose rather than just drop calories further and risk losing muscle.

The jump to 4mg hit noticeably harder the first week nausea kicked back in briefly like I was starting fresh, which actually makes me think the receptor activity genuinely stepped up. Energy during training took a small dip for a few days but normalized.

Anyone else used Reta specifically for that "last mile" into single-digit BF? Curious if others have found a sweet spot dose-wise when the goal is recomp/cut rather than just pure weight loss.

Started out at 1mg but moved up to 2mg within a couple of weeks. Lost about 20lbs fairly quick after going to 3mg. Then stalled out even after going up to 5mg. For some reason I stayed tired and sleepy all the time. Stopped the reta and changed to tirz. Gained 5lbs right off on a really low dose. Taking 5mg of tirz and it seems to work for about 4 days.
Thinking of taking about splitting 2-3mg of reta with the tirz to see if that helps. Some of the tired feeling has gone but have also started cpap therapy about 10 days ago.
Not sure if stopping reta or starting coap is helping.

I'm starting 10mg tomorrow for 4 weeks then moving to 12mg if the side effects are manageable. I've been on and off Reta for over a year now, have not had good results with lower dosages (under 6mg).

How is it coming off reta? Also how much weight did you lose in the year of use?

What is the absolute lowest dose people take? I was taking 2-5 mg for only February (never took any glp-1 previously). Last dose I had was 2.5 mg about three weeks ago. Am thinking of taking only 0.25 mg per week now. Maybe 0.5 or 1mg. Or every ten or fifteen days. Like just using it as a tool for when my diet is sliding away from perfection. Cost is not an issue. It is very cheap.

Any thoughts?
i use my tirz like that. only take 1.25mg every 8 days or so, so i can feel what its like to actually be hungry so my baseline "hunger" isnt actually me being hungry but more so bored or use to the schedule and im expecting food at a certain time etc. works great for me. its been an amazing tool against my BED because of that.

It's not bad at all coming off, if anything I wish I would have stayed on. I lost about 50lbs in a year but gained back 30 when I went off.
In how much time did you gain it back?

Howdy.
Im 7 months into my reta testing.
Down 43lbs from a high of 335lbs
Im 5'11" male, I lift fairly heavy at least 3 times a week.
I'm currently on my 5th week at 12mg.
I dose every 6 days rather than 7, I find the day before a redose is too saturated with food noise otherwise.
My scale and watch both agree Ive put on about 5lbs of lean mass in these seven months so the slower weight loss is okay with me.
I am about to start a second run of klow. I did the first run 5 months ago, I figure a couple of cycles during the weight loss phase can't hurt on the skin side of things.
What is klow?

I take 5mg (2.5mg every 84 hours) a week, but largely in a maintenance phase, and I've been on it quite a long time.

Honestly, depending on your goal, Tirz may be better for now. It definitely curbs appetite better than reta does, and it's cheaper. Reta I find works better for people with high discipline levels, who need to maintain muscle mass, and who are experienced. Tirz works best for those who need to break bad eating habits, have a ton of weight to lose, and need more direct dosing evidence.

Google search. Blend of four peps iirc.

Stuff like this makes me really sad to hear. I lost about 8lbs in my first two weeks and I hadn't even begun to dial in my diet. I'm halfway through week 3 now and the appetite suppression is perfect. I'm eating in a 1000+ calorie deficit + running daily (i need to figure out how to work my upper body).

I'm still at 2mg weekly in split doses.

My second week I went up to 1mg. Feel more appetite suppression but I feel like I can handle more. I know patience is the key. Should I do 1mg again my 3rd week, or go up to 1.5mg? Thanks for the replies.

This is my first glp1. Wanted to go slow to manage any side effects. I haven’t had any so far.
Week 1-2 .5
Week 3-4 .75
Week 5 1
Week 6 1.5
Week 7 2
I am going to stay at 2 since I’m losing weight and I feel great.
Hey, would you provide an update? How much weight did you lose? How are you feeling and doing with the treatment?

Any weight loss?

Info for new people as I know this would be very helpful for me:

I know everyone is different but I read a lot of posts where people start at low doses and don't need to titrate up that high of a dose.
I'm curious as to if people go all the way up to 12mg like in the clinical trials, if if they have reaped most benefits at lower doses.

So my question is:
How long have you been taking Reta for?
Where along are you in your journey?
What i

Week 1 — 1 mg — 229.3 lb
Week 2 — 1.25 mg — 223.7 lb
Week 3 — 1.25 mg — 221.8 lb
Week 4 — 1.25 mg — 218.1 lb
Week 5 — 1.25 mg — 216.8 lb
Week 6 — 1.5 mg — 214 lb
Week 7 — 1.6 mg — 211.1 lb
Week 8 — 2 mg — 210.5 lb
Week 9 — 2 mg — 213 lb (post-holiday - drank a lot of alcohol etc)
Week 10 — 2 mg — 212.4 lb
— Break (14 days) —
Week 11 — 2 mg — haven't measured weight

Total Weight Loss: −16.9 lb (229.3 → 212.4
I train weights consistently and haven't noticed myself getting weaker so I'm assuming this is mainly fat loss, definitely visible results around the waist especially

No not really. I'm only on my second week. Its crazy I read other people are losing 20lbs in a month.
I'd go to 2mg. Everyone is different. Most do 4 weeks on one amount, then bump up. I went 2mg/4 weeks-4mg/6 weeks and now on 6mg. Tomorrow is the fourth pin on 6mg and likely to stay there, unless I stall. That 20lbs a month is a stretch in my opinion. I'm losing 8-10lbs a month.

Dosing is the biggest factor. Some in the reta trials didn't want to eat much at all at the higher doses. Some were even encouraged to eat ice cream to prevent losing too much weight/muscle:

Week 13, first week at 2mg (1mg twice a week). Down 22 lbs, barely able to eat and wondering why I didn't stay at 1.5mg a week.
Pushing it up to make sure my blood work numbers look good for my next round with the cardiologist. It's all @Calm Logic 's fault. 😆

That and the other Phase 3 test subject's threads are wild.
At the end of the test Lilly showed them the door with no follow up.
And then great hunger came upon them. That's how you get face eaters. 😆
Out of curiosity, when did reta become available on gray?

By late 2023, which you already found before. I don't know about earlier than that, really, except maybe by September:
By late 2024, pricing seemed relatively reasonable:
New QSC Reta promo is r10 @ 125 I think
But as you found earlier, $450 for R10 kit in late 2023 (sold by XCE):

@ZippityDooDah would know more.

I started with 1mg in January and went to 2.5 after four weeks. I was extremely in the mood for sweet and cravings attacks. I never had that without it, I always ate a lot but never had chocolate or anything at home. It was different with Reta. Last week I was at 8mg every 6 days but that was too much. I couldn't eat anymore and am now back on 6mg every 6 days in the hope of bringing in the necessary calories and getting enough muscles. At 5mg every 7 days I had very little oppression. And at 8 it was like a blow and everything was gone.

I see my cardiologist Monday. No blood work, just had that a few weeks ago for the regular Dr.

Damn! Just so new that they justified that price?
Those older prices would really encourage “minimum effective dose!”
I guess. I sure wouldn't have as much as I do now.
