What dose of reta are you at?

I thought I saw 4 weeks on certain dose mg, then 4 weeks tirating up on the next and so on. I was just curious.

Yeah, I think the trials would have been at 4mg on week 5 not week 8.

My Reta titration was pretty off book alsošŸ˜‚

3 mg over weeks, no need to take more. But looking forward to stack it with Tesa and after a few weeks with 5 amino 1 mq. I hope my delivery is coming soon. Patience seems to be needed these days.

So, you're tirating up every week or two weeks?

I'm going to stick to 4mg for a while, this is the first dosage where I've experienced too much appetite suppression, skin sensitivity, and some trouble sleeping (likely due to the lack of eating)

1mg for 8 weeks now, not trying to loose (though I have about 14lbs down) but taking reta for the health benefits.

I'm currently on 2mg twice a week, however as i'm currently not utilizing chinese sales i wont go any higher as its quite expensive.

I have however lost 8kg in the 4 weeks i've been doing it

What are you paying?

I would actually ike to stay at 1-1.5mg hoping to still get the metabolic benefits, insulin sensitivity etc. I am at a good weight, though I would like to turn a couple of pounds of fat into muscle. I am accompanying that with focussing on protein foods and working out ca 3-4 times a week (shorter sessions) to keep and hopefully build some muscle.

I am only on 1mg after 6 weeks. Still losing, still have controlled appetite, down almost 20lbs and 3inches on waist. Still losing and saving $ so far. I'll move up when I plateau or start getting ravenously hangry.

I'm in week #4 of 2mg. Lost 11lbs in first 2 weeks and 2lbs week #3.
I'm was considering heading up to 4mg this Sat (dose day).

Food noise is less but I also lock down into eating right really well. I have an appetite but also wouldn't have to eat, if that makes sense.
I think phase #3 trial held the dose for 4 weeks before titrating up.
I've read that by week #4 I'm finally getting the max effect or steady state of the 2mg dose.

Should I do all 4 weeks on 2mg? Anyone have thoughts? I'm honestly excited for more aggressive weight loss but can be patient too.
Similar situation! I was 286 mid Feb. I lost 20 lbs in 1.5 months before starting 2mg/week for the last 4 weeks. Tomorrow is decision day. Weight loss since adding Reta: 5.3 lbs week 1, and 2.5 lbs week 2 and 3. I will weigh in tomorrow am and see what week 4 shows before deciding. I am definitely impatient but need to accept that this is pretty good progress. The advice is definitely split between going as low as it takes to keep losing and following the trials. My only side effect at 2mg was a 5-7 bpm rise in heart rate but with that I’m still around 73-75.
I’m leaning on bumping to 3mg to split the difference.

Google search. Blend of four peps iirc.

Stuff like this makes me really sad to hear. I lost about 8lbs in my first two weeks and I hadn't even begun to dial in my diet. I'm halfway through week 3 now and the appetite suppression is perfect. I'm eating in a 1000+ calorie deficit + running daily (i need to figure out how to work my upper body).

I'm still at 2mg weekly in split doses.
That's great to hear that only 2mg is working for you, I'm not too upset that my body requires for the same results.

You're correct, the trial protocol is every 4 weeks. I'm moving up once a month if my weight loss is plateauing and my side effects are negligible.

I know everyone is different but I read a lot of posts where people start at low doses and don't need to titrate up that high of a dose.
I'm curious as to if people go all the way up to 12mg like in the clinical trials, if if they have reaped most benefits at lower doses.

So my question is:
How long have you been taking Reta for?
Where along are you in your journey?
What is your current dosage?
Started at .25mg twice a week. First 3 weeks were tough. Currently up to .50 twice a week and no sides at all now. First 3 weeks sleep, nausea, reflux, and wired but tired hit me hard and I was in super low dose. Almost quit Reta but reading about pushing through paid off to many, I stuck it out. Thinking that slowly updosing to skip sides???. I have already lost a pant size and maintained my muscle according to some simple tape measurements on the arms and thighs. Dexa within the next month to confirm.

I'm up to 4mg now in split doses! Wildly effective. Week 3 I ended up losing another 4lbs. Week 4 the scale lied to me. I'm in week 5 now and definitely continuing to lose. Hope all is well on your end!

Started at .25mg twice a week.
Girl how much do you weigh 😭 It was tough?!

done a second shot of 1mg on friday - list 1.5kg in the first week but literally feel nothing lol

i can still eat loads but keeping to my deficit or lower but 200grams of protein

Don't
I'd go up in 0.5mg increments but you don't need to go up after a week of usage. It takes 4 weeks to stabilise in your system anyway

Everyone wants to rush it. Do 4 weeks, and most start at 2mg which we did. I still don't get these crazy small shots.

even though i'm literally not feeling anything?

Currently 1mg / week. Will go up sloooowly as on injection day my sleep is completely wrecked and I'm a bit scared to go up too fast

It’s not supposed to delete your appetite
I’ve heard of some people taking tirz ontop when they wanted it to be stronger. Some people are strong responders and others not. I struggled to get food in after my first dose of 0.5

I would hang it out for awhile, remember slower is better than fast

I started using reta in Oct 2025. my start weight was 186. my starting dose was 1mg, then slowly worked up to 6mg. I now weigh 156 and am currently doing a weekly maintenance dose of 3mg. I just have to intentionally eat enough protein to maintain muscle and to not loose anymore. For now, I am staying on a 3mg maintenance dose because of the fantastic results with my blood work. For reference, I am a 36y male 5'9. In a few weeks, I may drop down to 2mg per week. I am happy to just stay on it for the foreseeable future.

Started at 1mg a week, split into 2 shots. Going to run as is for at least 3 weeks before going up

I was very similar! I started at 1mg, ended up eating more that first week than I normally do. By week 3, I went up to 1.5mg and still felt nothing, but I did lose some weight. After 2 weeks at 1.5 I went up to 2 mg and while I never really got food noises suppression I felt fuller faster, and noticed I was losing more weight. By week 6 I was down almost 8 lbs and I was hardly feeling anything. I stayed at 2 mg for 3 weeks because it was working and now I’m down around 12 lbs. it’s weird, I’m losing weight but just don’t feel that hunger suppression everyone talks about. I think tomorrow I’m going to go up to 3mg and see what it does. I just know with a little less food noise I could drop weight faster.
