I have seen mention of accounts being closed, orders not going through etc. Currently I have use crypto.com for purchasing bitcoin. Exodus as a wallet. I don't want to risk my coin or get my account shutdown. What is the safest way for me to purchase peptides? The vendor I am looking at accepts Bitcoin, USDT, USDC, PYUSD and a few more.

TY

i use coinbase and coinbase wallet, minor fees but its simple and secure

I buy BTC right in Exodus. I use google pay. Crypto.com was expensive if I remember correctly.
I would not recommend buying or swapping crypto within Exodus. There is a hefty fee. I mean, you may not care for it, but leaving it here for anyone else who might.

Find a reputable broker that isn't margined to heck. And limit buy the USDT/USDC near the spot needed for whatever purchase. E.g., .99976 limit order will buy $100 USDT for about $100.05 of USD. Commission fee will be like 45 cents. Then withdraw to the wallet address given from the person selling. Use whatever network they use; usually solana, tron, etc. I think there's no other fees anymore; used to be $4 per withdrawal. Just the ~45 cent commission to buy it.

If you convert USD to USDT instead of just buying spot, then you will pay a conversion fee of like $5 or something.

I wrote a post about this a while back.

It's important to find out from your vendor which network each of these is accepted through. E.g. "USDT on Solana".

And be aware that each network also has its own cryptocoin, so you're not in that scenario trying to obtain SOL, the native cryptocurrency of that network.

Also, I recommend you quickly (but not necessarily directly) get your money into a stablecoin currency (pegged to the U.S. dollar), rather than leave it in Bitcoin whose value will fluctuate (sometimes quickly) during the course of your transaction, possibly leaving the vendor shortchanged and cranky.
