Has anybody placed an order and when received you do your investigation with the COAs and find that your vials don’t match the ones they have coas for. So what is it? You ask them and they tell you people ask for different color vial cap and the product is the same. What to do at this point?? Cant get my ss31 coa to even come up.
Mots has dark blue cap and nads has a white cap and is in a clear vial.

It only makes me think that they print the batch numbers of passed Coa's and label every batch with that numbers. I believe that they are the same products of the same producers, but not the same batches. I have recently received vials with 05/2025 as batch number. Regularly they are out of stock and after a time back in inventory. That is something what you can never be sure about. If they use other colour caps, they have been filled at different times. How can be sure that they are filled under same conditions? It makes the COA's invalid, in my opinion.

The vendor saying that people ask for a different color cap is gaslighting at its finest. Also NAD in a clear bottle is not ideal. This happens a lot I think, and as demand is greater than supply, they can get away with it. I try to stay away from sellers that don't label batch numbers.. or you can join a group test. Very frustrating.

Maybe this wisdom has been lost recently but vendor COA's are worthless, this was true in the past and true now. I don't ever "investigate" them because they are fabricated from the ether.

*This is in regards to overseas vendors. I have no idea if domestic single vial sellers are doing legitimate testing. I would assume that they are not.

That isn't ideal, but relying on vendor COAs is dicey at best. Unless they're fairly well-established with a good track record. No vendor is perfect.

When it comes down to it, you either pin and pray or you send it off for testing. You could try to find others who've bought the same, but I can't imagine any of the actual small vendors offering any kind of recourse. At the very least filter before pinning!

I only know if 1 who does. There is a super strict forum that explains why they are the only vetted US vendor allowed in their space.

This. I never even look at a vendor COA. Maybe they are good, maybe they are garbage, and there is no way to know. For everything I have I have either done testing myself or as part of a group or I have multiple 3rd party COAs (at least 3 or 4) from people who have bought what is likely the same batch. Basically, if a lot of people have tested, I'll freeload if I can find multiple COAs, if not I'll test myself and share the results.

What I’ve noticed is that most vendors get the first batch tested to build trust and verify that the purity and fill volume are correct, and once everything checks out they stop testing or only do it rarely, relying on the fact that everything continues to run smoothly. And when you ask them for a COA they just send you the one from the first batch they had tested.

They don't get stuff regularly tested because janoshik is so expensive. There are more Labs to test it at I guess
