Thanks!Shotsy. The Android version.
Wow, congratulations! Yeah, the ecstasy of losing weight is tempered by the reality of what maintenance looks like. I'm almost at maintenance. I have a plan, but it is subject to change. I'm down 98lbs but I don't think I will have skin removal. I don't have folds of skin, but the crinkled orange peel effect sure doesn't look good. Whatever. I'm doing this for health, not vanity. Not having high blood pressure, diabetes, fatty liver, etc., etc., is much better than the alternative. I'm grateful for what I have achieved. Oh, and by the way, I am now down 40%.30%. Started August 2025 at 225, now I'm at 155 and switched to maintenance. My surgeon estimates he will remove 10lbs of skin. That will bump it up to 35% loss.
Congrats! That's amazing! I don't *want* surgery but after I carried twins then lost 130lbs from my highest pregnancy weight... I have an unfortunate apron of skin that's got to go. And if we're doing surgery I'm going all out on a 360 lift.Oh, and by the way, I am now down 40%.
I have lost 43% of my body weight. I have been maintaining for over a year now. Tirz 100% of the time. I have stacked Sema and Cagri. A few months on one then a few months on the other. Just to switch things up.I was looking at the mouse study on Retatrutide and cancer. https://www.nature.com/articles/s44324-025-00054-5 The cancer implications are very interesting on its own, but that is not the purpose of this post. The other thing that caught my eye in the study is that the mice lost 40% to 41% of body weight and stabilized there. We have the Phase II data of 24.2%, but people were still losing weight after 48 weeks. There is no published data on when it plateaus. EL has extended the studies, so it looks like they are trying to find that out.
I have been stacking Tirz and Reta for 8 1/2 months. I have lost 35% of my body weight and I am still losing. I would like to get down to 40% to reach my ideal weight. My question is for people on maintenance or close to maintenance; what percentage of your body weight have you lost? Has anyone hit 40%, or more?
17 lbs in 5 weeks--that's so great! I know this is older, but still. Where are you at now?Since starting five weeks ago: 7 percent (3.4 pounds per week, 17 pounds total: 241 pounds to 224).
Dosing: Went up 2.5 mg weekly to 10 mg of tirz, as suggested by my internist.
That's awesome and welcome back from the future!30%. Started August 2025 at 225, now I'm at 155
