GLP-1 Forum

What's the longest you've used a vial?

I think it might be worth pointing out in here, for any newbies, that the general safe advice is to use your reconstituted GLP1 peptides within 4 weeks of reconstitution - and keep refrigerated. The legit pens you get can last a month outside the fridge and longer in, but they are filled with all sorts of preservatives outside of standard bac water.

I personally go above the 4 week limit (as noted above) and anecdotally I think I've always still been good when it comes to quality (i.e. it still works), but I've no idea if there's been any heightened risks of bacteria infection or I've just got lucky with my immune system just dealing with bacteria as someone who is relatively healthy. I am careful with wiping my vials and needles with alcohol wipes every dose too.

I'm not meaning to discourage anyone from going over a month (as I do do it myself) just trying to temper the conversation a bit for those newbies who might think there is zero risk - you probably still need to take hygiene precautions when storing and using longer term.

heightened risks of bacteria infection
I'm totally comfortable with at least three months (fridge, alcohol swabbing) and also freezing reconnned vials with wild abandon.

BUT I want to add that fungal contamination is also a deadly possibility and (I think) much harder to fight off than most bacterial infections. We live in a world of danger.

sir, we're all taking health risks here to save a few bucks by ordering grey, lmao.
This is an unfortunate take.
I'm saving thousands of dollars just in the meds alone. And it's the only way I could afford it.
Then, as a result of that affordability, I am saving much more money long term by not developing diabetes or the dozens of other maladies that come with being so obese.
My physical, mental and emotional health are so much better, too, which are hard to put a price on. Saving money on food and alcohol, too.

In my opinion, at this point the bigger health risk is name brand meds/cost or doing nothing.

Plus there is filtering, which should remove bacteria and fungal spores. Other than peptide degradation, I don't see any reason not to continue using it until it's gone.

This. It really is amazing the improvements in other areas, that is the reason why I went grey and stockpiled; it has become such an important help, I never want to have to go without it.
