Currently on Mounjaro for weight loss treatment and found my way here from a reccommendation.

Little bit about me, 2021 I was 260lb at 5'6, fast forward to 2023 and I was 160lb, did all of that with no assistence other than sheer willpower and a strict diet. As we all know that willpower only goes so far, I yo-yo'd up and down never really settling on a good weight or fully getting to where I want to be (140lb). Beginning of 2025 I stumbled accross Mounjaro, people touting it as a miracle drug and what not and I thought why not I'll give it a shot, can't hurt right? Go through all the steps, arrives at my door, hestitantly set everything up, inject myself with the pen and within 30 minutes, the horrific "food noise" onslaught that had plagued me basically my entire life went quiet.

Not to sound dramatic here but that almost brought me to tears and the appetite suppression was incredible! I've worked my way up from 2.5mg and now I'm coming to the end of my 12.5mg pen and of course using the 5th dose on every pen. Using Mounarjo from around Feb to now, I've gotten myself from 175lb to 139lb, I think that's a BMI around 23? Anyway, combined all that with the gym and I feel great, I do and thankfully I've experienced no side effects.

What I love more than all this though is how this medicine can save and change lives just like it did mine and I really want to deep dive into the research, people's experiences and new things coming along that can somehow be even better than Tirzepatide. I'm shooting for 135lb, or maybe even 130lb, we'll see. I wish everyone the best on their journey!

How'd you find this little den of peppers?

No "you guys" anymore... you're one of us now! Welcome... 😆
True! I've already spent like 6 hours on here today researching, searching the forum, joining discords, reading, reading and more reading. Feels like my head is gonna explode 🤣

But, I've learned a ton already and noted a lot of things down for future use and research, it's a great place to be.

The bookmark feature in the forum is great for saving posts for later reference and can be tagged with multiple keywords for easy lookup. But I'm also a pencil/paper guy myself for most things.

That's a great feature, I'll definitely be using it.

AWESOME!! Tirz has helped RS stay on track when in the past would cause total failure
Tell me about it, my biggest fear is acutally being off Tirz, I just cannot imagine life without it, whether that's good or bad, or maybe says more about me than it should I just cannot deal with the constant noise in my head that is present without using it. My end goal, whenever or whatever that ends up being I want to do some sort of long term maitnence plan for myself, maybe find the right dose not too high where I don't want to eat anything and not too low where I'm having cravings and food noise.

Give it time. Your body resets. The trick is to play around with other peps so that your body doesn't just depend on the tirz. Get into good habits, eat protein, exercise, cycle off tirz every now and then so your receptors can rest. While you cycle off, try some other pep like cagri to suppress hunger. Your body will learn. Big pharma wants you to think you can only survive on mounjaro for the rest of your life because $$$. F them! Make your own path. You got this!!!

Thank you! Didn't even stop to notice the bookmark. LOL Now I can stop spending time "re"searching for posts I wanted to read again! 😆

I really appreciate this, big mental boost for me. I remember when I first injected I was terrified, now I'm more than willing to inject stuff in pursuit of research, genuine curiosity and a healthier life.

Thankfully I have the food and exercise part locked down. I just need to learn all about the medicine side, which is what this forum and all you amazing lovely people are for!
