WhatsApp Account Suspension

So I had never used WhatsApp prior to joining this community/ scene. I noticed most vendors preferred it for contact so I downloaded the app and made account connected to my phone number.

After messaging a few vendors (even placing an order) my account was suspended today. I submitted a review to hopefully get unbanned. In the meantime I've been using Discord and Telegram as a means of communication. Has anyone else run into this problem with WhatsApp?

Were all your vendor contacts correct? If you trip their spam filter with too many messages in a short time, or if someone reports your message as spam, it can happen. I think Discord and TG have this as well.

They are. Most of the vendors have been in contact with me. I may have messaged too many vendors at once though. I've been "shopping" around looking for the best prices from China and from US Warehouses so maybe thats what did it.

This has happened to me three or four times. Every time it happens I appeal it and my account is restored within hours.

I just got this as well. All I did was message a vendor.

WhatsApp - “Your account was banned because it violated our Terms of Service”
I have submitted review request so fingers crossed.

But my question to those of you with more experience in the gray markets is - If the account is not restored (and my contacts are lost) what is the recommended way to set it up again and prevent this happening in the future.
