This might be a dumb or even just pointless question but what time of the day should i take reta at night? in the morning? Does it even matter? I only ask cause I’ve seen lots of different people with differing opinions on this and Im curious.

It takes about 3 hours to kick in. I like to pin shortly before I go to sleep, but mornings are fine too.

Most do morning, so it doesn't mess with your sleep. Me included. I'm recently have some trouble sleeping. Not sure if it's because I upped to 6mg 3 weeks ago.
Sleep has been better, must have been my pea brain not shutting down and thing where I'm going to buy 3 more kits. I like mornings for a couple of reasons. One, mornings it's just over and done with before showers and stuff. Second, day 7 the stuff is wearing down due to half life, and the morning starts working on the appetite suppression almost right away. This 4th 6mg Friday was wow. I mixed two vials of R40 I got before I found this place, zing it works. Even had a touch of heart burn Friday night. Appetite suppression is still in full force.

Probably better to start with a morning dose and then your 1st day off, in case it does mess with your sleep a bit.

I agree with the others that for side effects, take it in the morning so you don't have to stay up all night with first time badness and as you go up in dose.

Obviously all the previous posts here disagree with this, being all pretty early compared with expected peak levels, but it should not make much difference what time of day for the dose. There is a lot of individual variation in dose absorption time and side effects. It takes 12-48 hours to hit peak blood levels after a dose, which is in theory when side effects are most likely to be an issue, so maybe just try it and see, if there are no problematic side effects then it does not matter, and if there are, then you should know how long after a dose they kick in for you.

If I'm moving up a dose I'll try to take it before bed. Otherwise I don't experience any difference.
