it has to do with keeping the Ph level low.
Hospira BAC is typically 6 or close to it in terms of Ph value.
I ve seen posts else where they need it to be in 4 ph range and AA when mixed with Bac lowers the Ph level. Compared to Bac, AA consists of only a small fraction for reconstitution.
I am sure more experienced users can chime in and may have the formula for the ratio depending on how much of the bac/AA combined in going to be inserted in the vial.
Ive used AA from Amazon for my AOD vial and it worked well as AOD must have AA to prevent gelling. I used that vial for 4 weeks and no gelling occurred.
For Cagri, I read somewhere that if using Hospira BAC Ph level upto 7 is acceptable. mine was at 6 .Not sure if I should add AA next vial to bring it down.
